Shaw Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

  • PatrickSeward patrickseward (@PatrickSeward) reported from Saanich, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Well, #shawcable changed their plans, now all customers get the same great prices, or so they say. Not only do I feel cheated as a 20+ year customer when new ones got the best prices, now I get the privledge of paying more money, not less. Supervisor please!

  • swonder77 Steve (@swonder77) reported from North Saanich, British Columbia

@Shawhelp on demand not working for a few days now , but you managed to send me my bill. Good luck collecting my payment. 🤬

  • parkerspucks Parker (@parkerspucks) reported from Surrey, British Columbia

  • TomGautreau Thomas Gautreau (@TomGautreau) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

Dealt with Shaw for forty yrs and thought would give Telus a try on a new service. BIG MISTAKE ! Mon. I called C/ S they told me they would call me in 48 hours or less to deal with problem. No call. @TELUS @Shawhelp Telus customer service offshore. Shaw is in Canada.

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  • JKerby_88 John Kerby (@JKerby_88) reported from St. Albert, Alberta

@Shawhelp Internet is crap today too many people on it

  • WhiskeyCoop Paul Cooper (@WhiskeyCoop) reported from Winnipeg, Manitoba

@Shawhelp Good Morning! Are there currently any outage issues in Crescentwood/Armstrong’s Point area. Seem to have lost the internet.

  • MyWpgExperience Remy A. 🇨🇦 (Downtown Winnipeg) (@MyWpgExperience) reported from Winnipeg, Manitoba

Just had a @ShawInfo customer chat representative tell me my 2-year internet agreement at $65 per mth 1st yr and $95 per mth 2nd yr was a "deep discount which I should enjoy." (Their words exactly). Considering their current offerings, I both feel both #rippedoff & #punkedoff!

  • natebannerman Nathan (@natebannerman) reported from Calgary, Alberta

@Jenngurl84 @Shawhelp Glad I’m not the only one! $200 bill for no service 😂
