@Rogers I’m so glad you guys are crediting the country “A ******* DAY” when you caused so much more than you ignorantly think. People couldn’t call 911, debit was down so people had to use credit if they weren’t conveniently located by their branch. @Shawhelp BUYER BEWARE!!

  • CalgaryBuzz Calgary Buzz (@CalgaryBuzz) reported

Yesterday's Rogers outage in Canada is demonstrative of why a @ShawInfo and @Rogers should NOT be able to merge. #Canada needs MORE competition - not the continued consolidation of oligopoly telco providers.

  • sidramatik Sidra Mahmood (@sidramatik) reported

@Shawhelp Thanks but ethical consent doesn't work that way. Why make it an option when it's not actually an option?

  • SusanJa22230506 Susan James (@SusanJa22230506) reported

@Shawhelp Don't let Rogers buy you out please no no no. I had both cell and internet service yesterday

  • jmneave Jackie🇨🇦 🍫 (@jmneave) reported

@JayIsPainting @Shawhelp I switched to Telus a few years ago and have no regrets. They just sent someone out to check our lines as there have been issues in my area. They called me to provide better service and send a tech! #nocomplaints

  • JayIsPainting JayIsPainting (@JayIsPainting) reported

@Shawhelp I've spent hours with tech support and waiting for techs to arrive. They look at my modem signal and say... Oh you're not even online. Today... was oh they fixed the local node. All good. Well it isn't.

  • o0CyberFreak0o CyFr 💉😷🇨🇦💙💛 (@o0CyberFreak0o) reported

This outage just confirms yet another reason why @Rogers and @ShawInfo shouldn't merge. #rogersoutrage #internetdown

  • DerekAmsbaugh2 Derek Amsbaugh (@DerekAmsbaugh2) reported

@Shawhelp I seem to be having internet issues

  • HS_CaIn Hs (@HS_CaIn) reported

@Rogers wanting to take over @ShawInfo while convincing regulators that @Verizon entry to Canada would be detrimental is exactly the greed that we don't want in #Canada. #Canadians pay the highest cost for cell service for now we know has no redundancy for system failure.

  • JayIsPainting JayIsPainting (@JayIsPainting) reported

@Shawhelp Why did you send me a link to install Facebook Messenger. Wtf?
