@Shawhelp Unfortunately, this is not a troubleshooting problem, this is a Shaw Cable problem. Closes captions are always on the left side of the screen, even after resetting the closed captions to default settings. Troubleshooting will not fix bad UI where closed captions cover menus.

Shaw has the worst service. After being overcharged for 3 months, I contact billing and 2 holds later I am on hold again indefinitely, with no idea where I will end up. What a huge waste of time and crappy customer service. @ShawInfo

@CalgaryBluesky @ShawInfo They did that for me too, but the service was so bad when Shaw called me and offered me money to come back I agreed. Then Telus sent me a cheque to cover the free credit they gave me that I didn't use.

I think @Shawhelp rolled out the Fibre+ Gateway 3.0 before the network was ready for it. It just keeps rebooting itself. Nothing is working. Tech support is in the “let’s try this” mode now.

4/x September 21st, almost a month later, the questionable staff of @shawhelp confirmed with me that my balance was no longer owing and that they’ve notified Pro Collections to take me off of their Collections list (which I should have never been put on in the first place).
