@Bell_MTS @Bell_MTSHelps … the 8-12 app’t showed up .. late.. tells me i need a new line. MTS chat says this will happen before Nov 2?? So now no cable, internet, etc at all until then.. hello @ShawInfo.. wondering u provide service with less than a 9+ week window?

@Shawhelp Shouldn't all the outlets be activated when the service is first started? It's completely blowing my mind that Shaw wants to charge customers $50/room to move their PC's/TV's around in their own home if the room has existing coax outlets already. 😱

@Shawhelp Yes. Tried it this afternoon. Moved a Gateway Portal to a room that has never had a TV in it before. Box wouldn't work - support said there was $50/per each room/coax cable not activated. Mind blowing. Does the room need to have equip in it to have techs activate the outlet?

@Shawhelp That sounded a bit snarky. I don't expect Shaw to connect every house for free. I'd assume outlet activation cost would be covered during initial service purchase/setup. Nobody ever told us we'd be charged $50/coax outlet if we wanted to move our devices around in our own home.
