One more thing. I have owned and appreciate @Tesla's vehicles, and I pay for Starlink. That doesn't mean that I endorse @Elon's tweets. Maybe he'll fix Twitter, or maybe he won't, but transphobic slights, even if unintended, are not OK.

@itsJeffTiedrich I'm seriously considering an electric vehicle for my next one, Tesla was a brand I have looked into, but there is no way now, I will support that brand. Having said that I have Starlink and its amazing, I'm so conflicted! I can't go back to 2 MBps under Bell.

@Investments_CEO He has too many conflicts of interest. His corporations are way too involved with the government for that to be a clean position for him to hold. Even if he doesn’t do anything purposefully bad can you really expect him to do things which undermine StarLink if needed?

@USCGAux In inland lakes/rivers, a cell phone is an extremely important backup. Often you may have cell service where vhf will not reach USCG recievers. As satellite service expands like starlink teaming up with T-Mobile and Iphone 14, cell phones will be the perfect emergency device.

@CossieRob @mirauchsehregal @UKikaski Because if it happens it matters and should be addressed?! Coordinates, Satellite support and target acquisition. For a precision strike you need support. Support which is not available. Without Starlink there would be no comms?! So why deny other support?!
