@elonmusk I ordered #Starlink 14 Months ago in southern Ontario Canada and still not able to get the equipment, WTF. Focus on waiting customers before you take money from more. Seems like a ponzy scheme lol. I hope it's worth it...

@BillyM2k @elonmusk Its $590 to install and $110 a month. The internet should be a fundamental right, but Starlink is not providing that, it’s a luxury service, that also comes at a high environmental cost. Every rocket launch has the CO2 footprint of over 300 transatlantic commercial flights.

There is no fixed wireless service that reaches most of these towns, the fixed wireless has been unreliable where it does reach, Starlink needs an open sky and costs too much, the standard phone companies are not interested in low density towns. People have no access here.

@NickCnf @HfxMda Such a bad take Nick. There are so many communities that don't have access to the same internet you're tweeting on now and never will if they need physical infrastructure. Not to mention Starlink is the only thing keeping Ukraine online right now.
