@MobileSyrup How long is the subsidy going to last? and what happens when Starlink increases monthly costs again ? And what portion of Québec is available for such coverage? (until Starlink activates inter-satellite links, portions too far from a base station can’t get service.

@Bell_Support I called Bell again and have been on the phone for 45 mins. Each time having to explain what the issue is. The person on the phone tried reaching the rep that was supposed to call me. She is ignoring his messages. I wish there was an alternative to Bell - come on Starlink.

@elonmusk I want starlink so bad but for me to get started it’s like 900+ dollars Canadian 😭😭 we are moving due to unforeseeable issues with our current rental and found a rural place and telus is ripping us for internet that’s not even that good 😭

@colecisne @gothedistance49 So starlink is a good thing he’s done. But it’s also likely to be insanely profitable. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, and it allowed the help in ukraine. Overall though, musk has been proven to be extremely self centered and controlling.

The reason I mentioned linux specifically, starlink (doge) needs… and I mean, needs. To know everything @elonmusk linux can enable you to turn each satellite into a storage bank. Image how cool it would be knowin “my **** is stored in outer space” good luck.

Why @elonmusk gets snubbed by the White House becomes more interesting when you realize the US Gov is SpaceX biggest customer. Can’t appear too cozy when you’re building the pentagons next gen command and control infra (Starlink). Oh you thought that was a civilian product? LOL.

Lmao, when @CenturyLink is no longer the only game in town. Our outage this morning has our neighborhood group page full of #starlink posts and goodbyes to #centurylink we pay for highspeed and cant get better than 13mbps and are frequently at 2-4mbps, and that is when it works

@planet4589 Why are you saying it's Starlink at all when there is zero indication of that being the case? The payload adapter isn't at all similar to the ones used for Starlink. It's just of a similar method of design (where you blow out a triangular grid algorithmically to support a load).

@shelly2161 @feelsyoung 100% agree, attacking satellites is about the last thing earthbound countries should consider. I'm a little surprised US military's speed is so slow compared with the starlink stuff. which is prob another reason china is pissed; now they gotta upgrade their stuff.
