After a few years on their waiting list, I'm finally getting Starlink internet. I live in a rural area, so HughesNet was about my only option. And it sucks. If Starlink is all it's cut out to be, I can finally cut the cord too. To say I'm excited would be an understatement lol

@drewpost @HeyBroadband @SpaceX Sorry, another question, are you paying your monthly sub on the Starlink as well as your fibre? Read, if you cancel your sub, you may not be able to reconnect later on. I'd only be using it in France for 13 weeks a year, 6 weeks been the longest stretch.

@elonmusk sorry you mit lose Starlink I love to have it but I ruled and on a fix income. Dish network lit me pay the recive off mouth i can’t pay 600 dollars Starlink is for people that has money lit you so don’t say it for people that can’t get internet if you.

After much waiting my neighbor got #starlink. He says it doesn't work because of trees. @ViasatInc works but bogs during peak hours. This sucks. This means Starlink won't work for me either.

@RepBoebert Dear Miss, why is Dish network trying to get Starlink shut down ? As a forest service worker, in the Pike/ San Isabel national forest there are lots of us who depend on Starlink. As nobody else offers anything close. Please don't let them win , and put us back in the dark ages.

@elonmusk I signed for Residential Service on 2/9/2021. My present availability estimate is mid 2022. Accidentally bought the satellite dish for RV Starlink. Requested cancelation of the RV Service but it appears to have cancelled everything. To whom may I speak?

@SenJeffMerkley @SpaceXStarlink There is no direct TV out here anyways. The sat service provider I used to use doesn't even work. I couldn't stream ANYTHING. No zooms with family the whole pandemic. Now I can facetime on my phone and dial 911. DIRECT TV needs to update their systems. Starlink is essential.

@elonmusk i was excited to when I received starlink but I was so disappointed after testing. Only about 35MB download speed for $110/month w total equipment of about $640.. Not worth it. Even after returning the equipment, Elon charged me $110 for service i never even started.

@CDA @eastdakota You mean: how the network decides to which cloudflare pop it routes? It comes down to where the IP space starlink is announcing. For example, if SpaceX’s ground station is in Poland or Czech for example, and they announce ip space there, it goes mostly, if peering is correct 1/2
