Starlink Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
  • jvoc_Kemptown Josephine O'Carroll (@jvoc_Kemptown) reported

@elonmusk Tonga apparently cut off from internet as the eruption has cut their only fibre optic cable connection. Can Starlink help?

  • kchannel9 Kyle Channel (@kchannel9) reported

@vincent13031925 Good, cuz Tesla is prolly gonna have to move out of China once China realizes StarLink is gonna really mess with their internet control. They're gonna ask Elon to make it bad which would defeat the whole point.

  • Redundancia_ Redundància (@Redundancia_) reported

@Nilon75349784 @zei_squirrel I'd say the biggest recent incident in the ISS is not that of Soviet designed Nauka module, but the fact that astronauts have had to prepare for evacuation and lose precious and expensive science time because Starlink satellites threatened to collide with it.

  • Kxrpst ChosenK (@Kxrpst) reported

@Ya_Basta369 @IooP_rM311_7211 Ya im still curious of the gematria for xrp, David and brads name. Shows alot of suspect things. Even seen starlink an spaceforce bad things. Idk how to read it but it didn't look good

  • RussellHay7 A Monkey named Business (@RussellHay7) reported

@brownsfan204 @FX2trot Cancel cable. Get starlink for internet.

  • 13ericralph31 Eric Ralph (@13ericralph31) reported

@BellikOzan To be fair, this is a terrible title and SpaceX was always going to downselect to one of the two configurations it proposed - it was just a matter of deciding whether Starship development was far enough along to attach it to Starlink's hip.

  • affiliate_get Get affiliate (@affiliate_get) reported

@elonmusk #Starlink Starlink telecom facing trouble to entering in India. #ElonMusk

  • manan21072004 Manan Ranka (@manan21072004) reported

@elonmusk Hey Elon Just wanna ask does Starlink will also work in bad weather. Even my dth dies during bad weather.

  • tak23oda Logan (@tak23oda) reported

@KeeganGoerz Like I got speeds of just about 30mbps. With Starlink I get 50-350mbps. Average 100-300mbps. Ping speeds both are about the same. Around 20-45ms. Network peering with fixed wireless was also a huge issue.

  • phillips0825 Lee Phillips (@phillips0825) reported

@elonmusk Tonga is still without internet and phone service. Let's fly some StarLink product to the island and help them out. Raising my hand to help.

  • buziwuzi187 Buziwuzi (@buziwuzi187) reported

@elonmusk Elon, please throw Model PI on the market, we are sick of buying iPohnes every second year. Connection is terrible in many places, we need Starlink! It's not enough to have a #Tesla under the ***, we need it in the hand as well! Cheers

  • KerbalNut KerbalSpaceNut (@KerbalNut) reported

@PepinLachance @planet4589 Starlink has absolutely nothing to do with the "climate crisis." It's not significantly affecting professional astronomy. It's bringing much-needed internet access to places that may never have it with other means.

  • LEDewey13 Linda Dewey MD (@LEDewey13) reported

@ChrisG_NSF People there near the volcano have been incommunicado. Could StarLink help?

  • hodl4mars twostar (@hodl4mars) reported

@CaliShibe714 @RnoHach Tesla's mission is to accelerate the world's transition to sustainable energy. I don't see how this would align conceptually. Technically, there's several issues. Lacks correct antenna to talk to Starlink. Starlink can't provide comms to Mars. Doesn't pass smell test.

  • KenGWiebe ken wiebe (@KenGWiebe) reported

@elonmusk I had my first Starlink tech support call this week. Nothing to do with Starlink, it was a VPN problem (thanks Microsoft). I tested the connectivity from client site in Saskatchewan - pretty darn good for beta.

  • kirstinsullivan Kirstin Sullivan (@kirstinsullivan) reported

@elonmusk Wish starlink would acknowledge our deposit we put down 3 months ago. We are in the mountains and really need it.

  • 00trendless Double0 (@00trendless) reported

@aKidNamedDean @northwestel Try and convince the CRTC to block Starlink from accepting customers in NWTel service regions is what they're gonna do

  • LilW00f Fennecpaw🌸 (@LilW00f) reported

@iGenesis_X yikes ok you should DEFINITELY get starlink then it’s what it’s been made for, supplying internets to homes that are either overcharged for **** internet service or live in the country

  • RustyE83 RustyEngineer (@RustyE83) reported

@ryanmajesty @elonmusk Starling internet is bad ***, I’ve had it since the beta trials, and at first it was pretty spotty, but the service has become much more stable. And the download speeds are amazing(150Mbps+)we stepped up from DSL which is all we could get till Starlink

  • nouidestiny NOUI (@nouidestiny) reported

@elonmusk You said half of your money would help solving Earthian's problem, what problem Starlink is solving for them?

  • Pharell72 ghost 👻 (@Pharell72) reported

@pakpakchicken Elon has said many times that doing the right thing is more importantly even if there is a high chance not failure. India's population is 1.4 billion so helping India is a very good cause in itself. I think starlink and solar can be fix a lot of problems in India.

  • jimplkite8 jim C (@jimplkite8) reported

@RRalstonAgile @SenatorCantwell Cant get cable internet to non urban areas, the cost of it would be too high (big area) while the low population density means you get less money from it at the same time, this means the costs would be very high for the customer. A good alternative is starlink satellite internet.

  • jimplkite8 jim C (@jimplkite8) reported

@WNCrim @SenatorCantwell Yeah the costs of providing people in non urban areas cable internet is way too high, while getting less customers, which is why its not being done. Even if it was done it would cost so much that the price of it to the customer would be far higher than starlink

  • IRA_Darth_Aggie I R A Darth Aggie (@IRA_Darth_Aggie) reported

@EricMertz_KC They'll wait until the eruptions settle down before showing up. Starlink as an interim solution?

  • jimplkite8 jim C (@jimplkite8) reported

@chrisreay2015 @Rexx09237256 @Tesmanian_com yes, its what musk always says. Starlink is not meant for people in cities since they have good alternatives. There is no better thing than satellite internet when you want to service people in non urban areas, only with satellite internet the cost is low enough to have low price

  • fakerpriest Koike Gen (@fakerpriest) reported

@elonmusk Please bring starlink to India soon because my Jio network sucks!!!

  • benchu ben (@benchu) reported

@Gfilche @SpaceX @elonmusk Do you believe Starlink needs to beat out cellular and/or fiber to be successful? Physics would suggest spacecom would never be as cheap/fast as terrestrial solutions.

  • matadorcharters 🖕 the government (@matadorcharters) reported

@elonmusk I purchased starlink high speed wifi at my home in Virginia nearly a year ago and was told I would have service in q3 2021. That did not happen.

  • rithick_haorok Haorokcham Rithick (@rithick_haorok) reported

@elonmusk Please bring starlink to India soon because my Jio network sucks 🤟

  • zfrogz75 Ezra Hunt (@zfrogz75) reported

@heydave7 You talk a lot about Starlink bringing service to cell phones. Look at AST Spacemobile ($ASTS). Their satellites will be direct to cell phone through partnerships with carriers. Vodafone, Rakuten, AT&T and many more are already established. No more dead spots anywhere!
