  • centralnjlawyer Jeffrey Hoffmann (@centralnjlawyer) reported from Oceanside, California

Nationalize #Starlink. No one has time to **** around and find out.

  • Ray_Kromer Ray Kromer (@Ray_Kromer) reported

@Rebel44CZ @Rebel44CZ so in summary The issue itself is to not have terminals be weapon components. Because if they do enter that list, bye Starlink outside the US.

  • eaglaisehistory Michael Churchill (@eaglaisehistory) reported

@Jon59812180 @Constan81563162 @NewVoiceUkraine How did he invent Satellites giving people internet? Even if you credit that to Musk, Starlink is a company of thousands. The sole credit isn’t his. And self defense is a moral issue, the restriction of drone usage enables the genocide of Ukrainians.

  • The_Slav_ TheSlav (@The_Slav_) reported

@stevenwalchli Tmobile might not be the better choice right at this moment, but just remember Tmobile and Starlink teamed up to bring service to Tmobile phones anywhere in the US.

  • FREESPEECH1017 FREESPEECH101 (@FREESPEECH1017) reported

@ASTSInvestors @TMobile @AST_SpaceMobile Uhh! This is 100% incorrect. Starlink withdrew applications to provide DTHS service on Gen1 satellites. Submitted new applications for Gen 2 satellites which was always the target. First Gen. 2 satellites launch later this month on Falcon 9. Expects Global service mid-2024

  • hz_udhr Hong Zhang 🇺🇲United We Win🇺🇦 (@hz_udhr) reported

@dvfollowsls Mykolaiv was shelled regularly. Here is my amateur solution to provide communication around Kherson without Starlink: I have looked into directional Wi-Fi antennae for my own use. It can reach 10km easily, one just needs a few of these to reach the frontline...

@SpeakerMcCarthy Did you know that the Starlink for Ukraine is down? Did you have this discussion with Elon? RF forces are moving. Send Ukraine everything they need to save their Country! Please 🙏🙏

  • PoseyThomas32 Posey Thomas (@PoseyThomas32) reported

@AdamKinzinger He made it clear that starlink was offered for protection purposes only. He does not want it being used to take human life. He also saves the government billions of dollars by launching satellites. You are such a terrible person!

  • jakubvlasek Jakub Vlášek 🇨🇿🇪🇺🚀 (@jakubvlasek) reported

@eager_space @BellikOzan Do not forget Starlink V2. It will take few hundred Starship launches to deploy. Now, show me a similar customer for RL.

  • MidochondriaEve Joanna Dark 🇺🇦 (@MidochondriaEve) reported

@BowTiedAnkylo @RobustDemocracy Starlink and Musk violated the US TOS, b!tch! **** around--find out. And he will. Now, useless nerd, go back to ur mom's basement and continue being a virgin.

  • Tradecraftalpha Tradecraft (@Tradecraftalpha) reported

Does anybody think that the US government should cancel SpaceX contracts because starlink shut off Internet to Ukraine?

  • SanadrougH Sanadroug Hajian (@SanadrougH) reported

Gwynne Shotwell told reporters on Wednesday, referencing reports on Starlink and drone use. "There are things that we can do, and have done." Starlink was never meant to be used militarily in the way that it has, Shotwell argued, saying the company didn't foresee how profoundly

  • WilkieKc @TheRealKC (@WilkieKc) reported

@megraham9 @MayoIsSpicyy Uhhh....he owns Starlink. And he moved 200+ to the area for them to use for communication. He never said they could be used for the war.

  • ckhripin Constantine Khripin (@ckhripin) reported

@NikaMelkozerova @SpaceX Is there any actual evidence from Ukrainian soldiers that starlink service has been curtailed? You can’t actually install a starlink terminal on a drone. There is no evidence that they were being used for anything but comms. This is just a CEO trying to make Putin happy.

  • RoboToothPaste MonofilamentToothPaste (@RoboToothPaste) reported

@zerohedge As I recall, Ukraine isn't paying for whatever service Starlink provides because Ukraine is too cheap to pay for the service. As such, Entitled Ukraine can suck the death pipe as far as I'm concerned.

  • NeutronDancer Neutron Dancer (@NeutronDancer) reported

@Ivan_D_Sirko @SpaceX sharing one terminal with a lot of people, highly concentrated in a city that starink was never meant to, and causing costy traffic 100-200times more per dish than the calculated price Starlink is sold for. It'S not throttled, you are totally pushing it and take bandwith away

  • BellikOzan Ozan Bellik (@BellikOzan) reported

@eager_space We don't know for sure, but its first and for the near term biggest customer (Starlink) will already leverage its full size.

  • djankowski10 Dariusz Jankowski (@djankowski10) reported

@SpaceX Starlink blocked for Ukraine. You have chosen to help Putin apparently. Shame on you.

  • worksalt Micah Blumberg 🇺🇸 🇺🇦 (@worksalt) reported

@AdamKinzinger #Starlink #SpaceX SpaceX spies on it's @Starlink customers to see what they are doing. They monitor your traffic. SpaceX will stop Starlink from being used for drones that observe intruders entering your home or homeland, so you can no longer see the bad guys coming. @SpaceX

  • tommyBoomboom Tommy boomboom (@tommyBoomboom) reported

Yesterday I see allegations Ukraine is dropping chemical weapons from drones. Today starlink shuts off support for drones. What a coincidence.

  • HoarahLouxx Godfrey (@HoarahLouxx) reported

@FilmLadd That is not the only reason. SpaceX is now developing an altrntv Starlink system 'Starshield' just for DOD Starlink is blocked in many countries due to its involvement with military and dod By allowing Starlink only for civilian use Spacex can start service in those countries

  • SusanPaulaDeNa1 Susan Paula De Nadal (@SusanPaulaDeNa1) reported

@JamesClimateGuy This has nothing to do with the GOP. (i am not gop) Musk never intended Starlink, a private worldwide commercial satellite internet service as a weapons system for Ukraine, the entire country's communications was wiped out. Putin will try to wipe out the entire starlink system.

  • AmaChisholm Ama Chisholm (@AmaChisholm) reported

@meandtwi @Podolyak_M You mean when Ukrainians were loading up chemical weapons and using Starlink to direct them with drones to kill in horrific ways? War crimes kind of chemical weapons. And of course they film themselves doing it and post it to the internet. Starlink cannot support war crimes.

  • CrowGlittering5 CrowGlittering5 (@CrowGlittering5) reported

@7imeand7ide @Miroslavv100 @EHunterChristie That's not even remotely what I said nor meant in the tweet. I say again, I oppose nationalization and I support restoring Starlink service to Ukraine.

  • RcSboii Random Aerospace (@RcSboii) reported

@AspectOfMe @tea_raha @WarMonitors also the point of providing defense contracts is to prove that Starlink isn't purely civilian. Regardless of its tactical use or use in support ops, it is still a defense contract, in extension, a contract that helps the military's capability to wage war.

  • ahf77118198 ahf (Tony) (@ahf77118198) reported

"SpaceX Took Measures to Stop Ukraine From Using Starlink Internet Service in Drones" (South Front). "Elon Musk Blocks the Ukraine from Using Satellites for War" (Anglin). Seems to be a reasonable part of normal terms of service!

  • mac_brackin Mac Brackin (@mac_brackin) reported

@MuellerSheWrote @caffeinsomniac SpaceX wanted to use Starlink to help connect Ukrainian citizens, keep hospitals online, etc. They don't want to facilitate death. As a private company, that is their right, whether you would do the same or not.

  • HoarahLouxx Godfrey (@HoarahLouxx) reported
