@startca Morning! Is it worth calling for a new issue? My internet is out and hasn't been all weekend. I just don't know if it's related to the outage or a new issue, no Rogers except cellular in my community.

@unownedspaces @startca They already said on their feed here they will. They're just waiting to see what the scope and duration of the outage is. Can't no the duration until everyone's back to normal, though.

@hainsworthtv I know it would be like shuffling decks chairs on a sinking ship but hopefully Rogers sees a crap ton of subscribers bail on them in the next few weeks. Ideally people would switch to other third party providers like TekSavy or @startca instead of another big Telco

@DinisPhillip @KeithIsnor @startca Been up in London since 22h after the outage stopped. Home Phone came on last night. Still waiting for TV, though.

@startca Appreciate that you're doing what you can but are you actually hearing anything at all from Rogers on this? Thankfully I at least have some connectivity but all I'm seeing from Rogers in media coverage is "Oh, everything is fine, service is restored!" and it's very frustrating

@nobotbeaulieu @startca Could be, seems most in town on Start lost connection in the middle of the night until about 8am. I've only lost service once and it was a blackout across 4 towns so I'm not sure if it's maintenance or if the Rogers lines are still having issues.

@Cruu__ @startca Unfortunately, Start probably can't give an estimate because the problem is in the cable network, which is owned and managed by Rogers... Start (and every other ISP who offers cable internet) are at the mercy of Rogers's network techs.
