Super Mario Run Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

Phil Johnson 🇺🇸 (@philjohnson1209) reportedEven Nintendo hasn't been able to have a good track record. Pokemon Go was good, but lasted only a month before the hype died. Mario run is good, but most of it is behind a paywall. And lots of people had an issue with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Same for Mario Kart Tour.

Sakku Tatsainyo 🐉🐉 (@Eeve2espeon) reported@Jadenfire @JosephR56698859 @NintendoAmerica Nintendo made that decision with Mario Run BECAUSE people on mobile devices do waaay to much pirating on them :V especially Android it's a big problem, and nintendo did that to ensure people wouldn't pirate it
-
nathan (parody) (@flurryboi) reported@ArloStuff Nintendo has not put out a single bad mobile game recently except maybe Pikmin Bloom. The problem comes from people expecting a console game level of depth from said mobile games, which was never the intent. MK Tour, Mario Run, PKMN GO, FE Heroes, etc were all good mobile games

thomasmahler (@thomasmahler) reportedWhy not indeed? I think it's an interesting phenomenon that even developers and publishers generally see mobile games as basically the lowest-heap trash tier by now without anyone really wondering if this sad reality could be turned into an opportunity instead. And I think what ultimately drives that change is that - clearly - things have changed. Consoles aren't cheap alternatives to PCs anymore. And building a PC is pretty goddamn expensive right now. At the same time, mobile hardware has improved at a rapid pace to the point where the AAA games we're playing on consoles right now could likely also be delivered without too many issues on hardware you already own. So the question becomes: Do mobile games always have to ship as crappy cashgrab versions of their higher quality brethren? My point being: Why would anybody play e.g. Diablo Immortal where you're being squeezed by Blizzard in typical mobile-game fashion if a game like No Rest for the Wicked delivers a better experience without any of that crazy stuff? Why would anybody play Clash of Clans and keep buying MTX if my little Luma delivers a vastly better experience and doesn't constantly ask you to flash your credit card? We've seen something similar happen 20 years ago when piracy was taken for granted by everybody until Apple and Steam came along and delivered better alternatives. And usually if you actually give people a better alternative, surprise, they might just be happy to support that. I think all of this is extremely interesting and exciting and I think while some others have tried to fix this issue before (Like Nintendo with Super Mario Run), I'd still argue that it's always been a bit of a half-hearted effort. But let's not praise the day before the night. It's entirely possible that nobody will care and in that case, not much was lost. But there's an opportunity here worth seizing.

305RUMORS (@Animals2Miami) reportedMiami hurricanes offense slow as fuh! Always my concerned with the Michigan OC and Mario run run run run philosophy I’ve always said it.
-
Jason Battle 🦥 (@jasontbattle) reported@RichardPrince_ Yea I have two builds a pg that has 99 perimeter defense and 99 steal and all the badges and people still dribble into me and no penalty…sometimes I get steals but it needs to happen more or they should bobble the ball not Mario run into me Game is just broken
-
Kevin Kess (@klkjr) reportedIf Nintendo were to port games like Super Mario Run, Mario Kart Tour, and yes, Dragalia Lost over to the Switch (or their next home console) rather than shutting any of the mobile servers down, would you buy or download them? Would you want them to do this?
-
Caleb 🌕 (@owltism) reportedNancy Wheeler would try to mario run away from her problems in high heels
-
M3tr0n0id (@ja_roms08_9) reported@SuperMarioOOC81 Lmao!! Didn't remember him working out and announcing the Super Mario Run app
-
Goodspeed (@HindianOnTwitch) reported@bair54096307 @TheNCSmaster @Mevans2703 Now you're insulting me because I have used logic to breakdown your personal issues with the game. Idk how long you played or how much you paid but I don't feel you're qualified to judge based on what you're saying. This isn't Dr mario or mario run, MKT has been great.
-
*Larry Ω (@Learii) reported@_Anthony_A_G ya but nintendo never get their IP to anyone but theirself as for mario run, pokemon GO and animals crossing pocket camp they on mobiles because nintendo team up with DeNA when they working on the switch

SavagePoodle (@PoodleSavage) reported@eriktuf @Cakemations1 @Canadianguyehh I'm gonna try to explain this simply. First game. Big sales. 2nd game lower sales. 3rd game even lower sales. Mobile game. Everyone downloaded few paid money. I wouldn't call it a success but mario run 2.0. Now DLC rumors. That's a downhill slope to the third death of Crash.
-
Chris @ Crown Tundra (@Tsukento) reported@KeikakuKat The problem is how they go about monetizing it. They tried the buy a game method and it didn't work well for Super Mario Run.
-
Brian Vaira (@VairaBrian) reported@gillythekidYT It should have stayed a mobile game. If this was a spinoff title like super Mario run, there'd be no problem, but people have wanted a true sequel for a decade. At least The End is Nigh exists.
-
Balloo™️ (@why_balloo) reportedMama Balloo Switch update: I got on the phone with her because she was stuck on Mario Odyssey, had no idea "how to make mario run." I kept telling her: it's just the left joystick. That's it. If the joystick isn't working let me know because I'll need to get an exchange for you.
-
Infinite8 (@TinTinfinite) reportedMario Run is also affected. However Dr. Mario World didn't have the issue (ironic, that the game will shut down in two weeks)
-
𝗦𝗦𝗟𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟰 (@SSL_2004) reported@AmiStarZX @YungMugiwara_ The issue I have is that we have no evidence that the clown car is CURRENTLY moving at those speeds in Super Mario Run, or that it can even go that fast in the first place given the jump cut in Mario Party.
-
majin spitfire (@MajinSpitfire) reported@iCrazeiOS Not working with Mario run
-
Fronk (@Masaka__Arienai) reportedMy shift key is broken. The super mario run*.
-
Jarno Eskola (@jaeskola) reportedHi, I have a problem with Super Mario Run (Android). I try to link the app to a Nintendo Account but an error message appear. The support code is 804-7912.
-
☔🌈 (@nebuloved) reportedI'm trying out Mario Kart Tour and Mario Run to distract myself from how I'm feeling... I'm not sure if it's working.
-
- ̗̀ Tuddy ̖́- (@tudsworthington) reported@HatokTalk A realisation I just had that’s arguably worse : the lesson Nintendo took from Mario Run wasn’t “the mobile market is broken stop paying it attention”, the lesson they took was to become just as bad as everybody else, if not worse because you know they can do better.
-
✸ Voyager (@Fire_Voyager) reported@Hamada_520 Yeah, Not even Mario can save a mediocre game, even Mario Run had a lot of trouble. So in the article I wanted to show examples of games that could had a skin of those franchises and still be fun.
-
gulag torture methods that go hard 🇺🇦 (@LilyKangaroo) reported@somari8591 Fair enough but like it still doesn’t fix the issue that Mario is just as nostalgia heavy as Sonic a lot of the time. Let’s not forget NSMB exists. Or 3D World. Or Mario Run.
-
- ̗̀ Tuddy ̖́- (@tudsworthington) reported@ZFighterAmuro @HatokTalk Love how at least when I last used iOS, most of the top reviews of Mario Run had words to the effect of "scam" in them. On an app store that has a serious and ever-present problem with actual scam apps.
-
Eddie Cash (@AM68461238) reported@robertlhutch24 @LockedOnCanes The problem with Mario is that he is stubborn AF. Zero innovation or creativity with the offense. Makes players cater to his scheme instead of understanding what scheme would fit best with the players. Have also seen Mario run up the middle on 3 & 10 with Justin Herbert. Nah!
-
Tyler (@tyler_cfb91) reportedI think the projector is working fine, mom just needs to wait for the sun to go down in order for it to work. My mom has always been so dimwitted. One time she thought that the AV Cords for the Wii would work for the Xbox 360 & assumed that Super Mario Run would work on my Wii U.
-
Gene Park (@GenePark) reported@JeffGrubb It’s funny to see that crash freak out post imagining playing Mario on other platforms. I played super Mario run on iPhone just fine mentally I was just more mad it wasn’t a better game lol
