  Hi, I have a problem with Super Mario Run (Android). I try to link the app to a Nintendo Account but an error message appear. The support code is 804-7912.

  @schmelty @SuperWeenieHtJr So your issue with Smugglers Run is that the buttons are in their accurate spot, as they would be in the films and require you to look back n forth from the viewport and the controls, just like characters would in the movies. FYI: Never seen a four seater Mario Kart before.

  Mario Run is also affected. However Dr. Mario World didn't have the issue (ironic, that the game will shut down in two weeks)

  @eriktuf @Cakemations1 @Canadianguyehh I'm gonna try to explain this simply. First game. Big sales. 2nd game lower sales. 3rd game even lower sales. Mobile game. Everyone downloaded few paid money. I wouldn't call it a success but mario run 2.0. Now DLC rumors. That's a downhill slope to the third death of Crash.

  @vjw2005 @SyrupBay But at least Daisy appeared in Super Mario Run and Mario Maker which are her 2nd and 3rd Mainline installment appearances. They should just have her show up whenever Peach does so they can fix this mess.

  @HatokTalk A realisation I just had that’s arguably worse : the lesson Nintendo took from Mario Run wasn’t “the mobile market is broken stop paying it attention”, the lesson they took was to become just as bad as everybody else, if not worse because you know they can do better.

  @JeffGrubb It’s funny to see that crash freak out post imagining playing Mario on other platforms. I played super Mario run on iPhone just fine mentally I was just more mad it wasn’t a better game lol

  @Canada4Canada2 @JELKK11 This so far has beaten mario run, which is HUGE due to Mario being such a figure in the gaming industry. and brushing all crash fans as too childish and toxic to even know what success is is kinda over the top to say.

  @TamaTheYoshi @LinkyYoshi19 Yes, Super Mario Run is actually really fun. I 100% it. Its no gacha game, unlikr Mario Kart Tour, it doesnt make progression slow in the name of inapp purchases. It lets you do world 1 and toad rally (with only red and green toads) for free else 10 US$ to unlock full version.

  It’s funny to me how people still complain about micro transactions in free mobile games! If the game was $10 with no micro transactions know one would buy it, look at Mario Run! The consumer has created the problem. The dev’s need to make money if they can’t get any up front 🤷🏽

  @JustinHackbarth @Hideki_Naganuma Interesting. From what I've seen, Nintendo loves to contract out Mario for money, instead of prioritizing quality. I.E: Mario Run, Mario Kart Tour, etc. Problem is, Sonic fans are just better than Sony at knowing what fans want. But have you heard of Yakuza?

  @Hamada_520 Yeah, Not even Mario can save a mediocre game, even Mario Run had a lot of trouble. So in the article I wanted to show examples of games that could had a skin of those franchises and still be fun.

  @robertlhutch24 @LockedOnCanes The problem with Mario is that he is stubborn AF. Zero innovation or creativity with the offense. Makes players cater to his scheme instead of understanding what scheme would fit best with the players. Have also seen Mario run up the middle on 3 & 10 with Justin Herbert. Nah!

  @Zhane_Star To be fair, Daisy appeared in Super Mario Run, the last new mainline 2D Mario, as a playable character. Waluigi is a problem because of his existence as a joke character and his (seemingly) lacking popularity in Japan. His existence is a franchise-wide null-factor.

  @RichardPrince_ Yea I have two builds a pg that has 99 perimeter defense and 99 steal and all the badges and people still dribble into me and no penalty…sometimes I get steals but it needs to happen more or they should bobble the ball not Mario run into me Game is just broken

  @gruber @twadds This is 100% the issue! I have Mario Run installed and it’s labeled as MARIO RUN. So every time I type the word “Mario” it tries to replace it with all caps. I talk video games with my friends all the time. It’s incredibly annoying.

  Mama Balloo Switch update: I got on the phone with her because she was stuck on Mario Odyssey, had no idea "how to make mario run." I kept telling her: it's just the left joystick. That's it. If the joystick isn't working let me know because I'll need to get an exchange for you.

  Hey @NintendoUK I uninstalled super Mario run from my iPhone and just re installed it for some nostalgia! It’s weirdly now created a new ‘user’ and won’t let me connect to my Nintendo account. My tickets, buildings etc are also gone! Error 804-3985

  There was definitely a time when Nintendo just let Mario run rampant. Do ANYTHING. Make WHATEVER you want up, have some Goomba OCs, maybe the Koopalings sing, just have fun with it, that's what Mario's about!! Now it's more like "THERE ARE STRICT RULES WHICH CAN NEVER BE BROKEN"

  If Nintendo were to port games like Super Mario Run, Mario Kart Tour, and yes, Dragalia Lost over to the Switch (or their next home console) rather than shutting any of the mobile servers down, would you buy or download them? Would you want them to do this?
