  @Canada4Canada2 @JELKK11 This so far has beaten mario run, which is HUGE due to Mario being such a figure in the gaming industry. and brushing all crash fans as too childish and toxic to even know what success is is kinda over the top to say.

  @JeffGrubb It’s funny to see that crash freak out post imagining playing Mario on other platforms. I played super Mario run on iPhone just fine mentally I was just more mad it wasn’t a better game lol

  @elaifresh Duh huh. Tower fortress and nitrome games in general are goated. Also Mario run is comically good. They made comically good level design for a game where you have only one button (and swiping left or right to kind of slow down if you want)

  It’s funny to me how people still complain about micro transactions in free mobile games! If the game was $10 with no micro transactions know one would buy it, look at Mario Run! The consumer has created the problem. The dev’s need to make money if they can’t get any up front 🤷🏽

  @rmgraphics_ true, I've never had an issue with that render. but the mario run render just slapped an anime mouth on him and called it a day.

  @KPooper2005 It still gets updates, but the amount of new content it gets is at a rate so slow that a lot of people have moved to other games. but at least it wouldn't do an event as small as the one in Mario Run.

  There was definitely a time when Nintendo just let Mario run rampant. Do ANYTHING. Make WHATEVER you want up, have some Goomba OCs, maybe the Koopalings sing, just have fun with it, that's what Mario's about!! Now it's more like "THERE ARE STRICT RULES WHICH CAN NEVER BE BROKEN"

  @AlaO_kun @Fredrikspelarsp Sonic Dash only had like one or two different levels and no sense of progression Mario Run offered a full game but only if you paid, which as a mobile game, isn't appealing. Crash on the Run could stay alive for years like Sonic Forces Speed Battle, assuming it gets updates

  really stupid that they won't enable offline usage. this is why i never bought (and therefore cannot play) super mario run - eventually, the game is going to stop working if someone doesn't develop an unofficial server emulator. and that's not been done for SMR yet.

  @DanoDino86 @M1ster_Kevin @Wario64 tbf the problem with Mario Run wasn't the fact that it costed money, but the absurdly high price for mobile standards luckily, the game often went on sale to a way more reasonable $5

  @_RemixProtocol_ @mariokarttourEN Will people buy it though? That’s the problem with phone users. They play if free but not if paid. Not many bought super Mario run and probably the same for animal crossing pocket camp. Therefore they had to use micro transactions to get money in some way.

  @gruber @twadds This is 100% the issue! I have Mario Run installed and it’s labeled as MARIO RUN. So every time I type the word “Mario” it tries to replace it with all caps. I talk video games with my friends all the time. It’s incredibly annoying.

  @LordCalka @Silverxsx @Fortnite They were Nintendo developed exceptions. Mobile games =/= 3rd party collabs. Mario Kart Tour will shut servers down soon. Any other mobile game that isnt Super Mario Run either shut down or got a paid offline version. Except Pictonico as thats very new and also paid. Pokèmon is

  @schmelty @SuperWeenieHtJr So your issue with Smugglers Run is that the buttons are in their accurate spot, as they would be in the films and require you to look back n forth from the viewport and the controls, just like characters would in the movies. FYI: Never seen a four seater Mario Kart before.

  Both of these games are just inferior incarnations of their console versions, and everyone knows it. Meanwhile, nobody liked Super Mario Run, and nobody noticed Dr. Mario World. The issue is that, yes, casuals play mobile games. But casuals don't spend money, either.

  @Jadenfire @BillyTheToilet @NinEverything All mods are scam. Super Mario Run doesn't have any working mods! Super Mario Run is running on servers. You're coins are saved on encrypted servers, so there is no way you could modify it!

  Even Nintendo hasn't been able to have a good track record. Pokemon Go was good, but lasted only a month before the hype died. Mario run is good, but most of it is behind a paywall. And lots of people had an issue with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp. Same for Mario Kart Tour.

  @gillythekidYT It should have stayed a mobile game. If this was a spinoff title like super Mario run, there'd be no problem, but people have wanted a true sequel for a decade. At least The End is Nigh exists.

  That was a fun stream of the mario series, the highlight being that Mario 1 run. World 5 was an issue, but I 1 shotted 6. 7 wasn't terrible, and 8 gave me issue but 1 shotted 8-4 on the first go with 1 life left. woo
