@TELUSsupport trying to get help for home internet that has been down since yesterday evening. Telus Assistant says it’s not available right now and 310-1212 number is perpetually busy. How are we suppose to get support???

@InsiderOilers @darthvanderlaan @TELUS I found that I've had to repeat "actually, I think I'm going to go ahead and just cancel" two to three times before they gave me a reason to stay.

@sblomkamp I had far better experiences with my TELUS Optik than I ever did with any Shaw. Plus rarely charged for service. Shaw rarely monitors bandwidth closely, but down more frequently and slower service. Slow speed at our place b/c it’s included in strata otherwise I’d switch to TELUS.

Another observation... Even if the Telus guy was bad... And even if the service sucked... At least they have jobs. JY is just a drain. A fraud. A thief, really.

@darthvanderlaan @TELUS Also a telus customer. And it always blows my mind that companies will throw money to get new customers but do so little to keep existing ones…

Currently paying $100 for 1000mbp/s with Telus, but it runs at 70mbp/s, and disconnects frequently. They identified the problem as their side, sent someone over for free to fix it. It's not fixed, and then charged me for his service. Yeah, never use Telus. I'm switching ISP asap

@FrogInevitable @JeanLucMarches1 For internet I use teksavvy. They use the same infrastructure as rogers but at a fraction of the cost and with no commitments or "promo rates". For cell service, TELUS has the best network so cheapest price on the best network would be with the TELUS flanker, Koodo.

@darthvanderlaan @TELUS All telcos are like that though. I'd suggest contacting their customer retention or loyalty team to see what they can offer you.
