@Hannah_Bananaz I guess the big question is how is @TELUS bad choices the responsibility of the taxpayer? They’ve been ****** their clients, I’m a Telus client, with obscene mobile rates for many years. They can pay for their own mistakes. Time to let the US telcos into the Cdn mkt.

@ThomasHall17 @JustWatchMe14 @kim_siever I really don't get it. They whine endlessly about how untrustworthy government is, but never question corporations. We'll go on and on about how Telus and Shaw have garbage customer service, but never question that our communications infrastructure is privately owned.

@BlackBerry Just got a text from Telus Mobility advising as of Jan 4/22 my "device will no longer be functional and will not support voice, data, SMS and/or 911 services on any carrier network". Does #Blackberry have a workaround that the Telecomm's are not telling us about?

@TELUS Telus charged me for a 2nd number on a contract, which I called and tried to cancel. They kept saying they wouldn’t do it…”BUT they could cancel my current line at no cost (which is a business phone number). This was a 2 year contract @ 80/month. Essentially Telus cost me $1920.

@Martyupnorth_ "Telus" called me yesterday claiming I would be getting 40% off my landline/mobile/tv/internet bill for the next TWO years (because I was a loyal customer) AND that I would be receiving TWO of the latest iPhones. All I had to do was pay an $80 shipping fee upfront! @TELUS

@Hannah_Bananaz They knew this would be a problem but did it anyway. I left Telus because of this. Let them pay for their mistakes and open Canada up to US competition.
