..my internet provider says “Tell Us why you’re still with Rogers…” @TELUS pun intended. You guys would never. 💙

@WesternHemlox I know 2 BC older folks who've always had land lines &never internet service. Presumably, Telus' own phone network still exists apart from the internet,& Telus' line into yr. home can connect to both. I believe land lines still have superior audio quality vs. VOIP (which I have)

  • Mitts64 BR (@Mitts64) reported

@CanadensisMax This is what happens when one company gets so big it takes emergency services, government, banking and retail down with it.If there’s ever a cyberattack this is the exact scenario that will occur except it will take Bell, Telus Shaw along with them.Harder to hack 3,000 small ones

When I was young we had BCTel AGT SaskTel etc. Then Telus from BCTEL and AGT. The mobile industry was in very hands to begin with. These huge outages are a result of few national networks.. all your eggs in one basket.. isn't connectivity an essential service these days?

@kaja24101 @blogTO Eastlink for home internet. Their customer service is amazing. I’m with Telus business for cell phone - ******* expensive though.

  • tonypatafio TP (@tonypatafio) reported

@theJagmeetSingh In the meantime why are they not updating customers on the status by region/service via social media asking Bell & Telus clients to update their friends, family and associates.

  • CFilinski Carol Filinski 🇺🇦 (@CFilinski) reported

@CTVNews We don’t have any service in our home. Glad my phone is @telus

  • GorionZ Zorander 🇬🇷 🇨🇦 (@GorionZ) reported

@manofbird Telus here trying to convince sister to switch over just told here she will not have service for several more days

  • jbkvcasr_bj JB (@jbkvcasr_bj) reported

@TheBeaverton Uneventful day! Hardly noticed cell phone wasn’t working. What does that tell you. Two things. Life can go on without Rogers, Telus, Fido, Bell,… and amount they charge you for their unreliable service is insane.

  • WillFreedoms Will not let my Freedoms go! (@WillFreedoms) reported

@VivianBercovici The only thing that’s obvious is that our government has failed us once again. How stupid do you have to be to have one company in control. Especially not even the strongest one? Notice Bell & Telus users don’t have this problem ever? Stop getting doses people.
