  • Terryg2017 Terry2017 (@Terryg2017) reported

@AndreaWoo @adriandix BC’s negligence in managing the healthcare has resulted in many deaths due to no access to doctors, excessive waiting times for life saving treatments and procedures. Now they seek to prevent Telus from providing what they fail to do. How can Eby and Dix sleep at night ?

  • RobeyEdith Geanine Edith Robey (@RobeyEdith) reported

.@TELUS @koodo 1/2We live 500 m. fr your #SilvaBay tower on #Gabriola & can’t use our phones without #wifi assist. Well guess what? The internet (Shaw) is down here as an underwater optic cable was damaged in Tue’s storm. I’m paying 4 service I can’t use except at ferry terminal

  • FishFirstBC Greg Taylor (@FishFirstBC) reported

@RobShaw_BC @adriandix This is criminal. I work with an indigenous woman with 3 young children who lives in Vcr, doesn’t have a family Doctor, and whose only options are Telus health or a 6-12 hour wait in emergency. Oh yeah, what does she do with the other 2 kids while she waits?

@K_elly_B I get that it sucks; Telus should be the ones that are shamed for attempting to implement tiered healthcare. Semi/private clinics charges a fee is not new but it’s just huge profile than it was previously.

@Limbictweets Awesome! Crossing my fingers that @TELUS has to shut down that part of their service. Their spokesperson was VERY snide/rude in her comments on Global tonight, which IMHO did not do the Corporation any favours.

  • Michelledezz Michelle Desaulniers 🇨🇦 (@Michelledezz) reported

@MDSmokyFarmer I know it's not the same thing, but our telus hub has been absolute garbage lately. Long before the Quake of '22 though

  • roystonbruce Bruce Shearer (@roystonbruce) reported

@Lidsville @markroseman Spoken like someone who has a family Dr and doesn’t have to rely on FREE Telus Docs. Fix the FD problem before you kill the alternative!

  • moodyangela Synthetic Animals (@moodyangela) reported

@JonDurnin @richardzussman Telus poached a lot of GPs BCNDP refuses to fix the pay system for GPs We have more graduates than ever before, but we can’t retain doctors with this pay system They want to hire newcomers so they can keep wages low

  • pmayvr Paul Antonioni (@pmayvr) reported

@RobShaw_BC @TELUSHealth Several friends have told me how they use Telus Health and are happy to use a service that is based on prevetative treatment/care. Odd that the province, that can't even deliver emergency care, would be against this. Afraid that people might stay too healthy and not need the ER?

  • LAOJoe Joe Piazza (@LAOJoe) reported

Wow. I switched to Telus on Cyber Monday. The Canada-US 100GB 5G+ plan went down from $100 to $90 and I got some other discounts and gift cards. Now that the sale is over it went up to $125. That is a crazy 40% increase.
