So, guy with a Telus lanyard who just came to our door on Good Friday and whose response to me saying we were busy was “really? Oh ****”: legit or no?

I have a WestJet Mastercard and over the past month and a bit I've been having nothing but problems. I go to stores and try to pay with it and I get transaction denied. But I can pay with Apple pay. Now today Telus tells me my pre-authorized payment was denied.

@L82be Yep, I did read that. But I still don't see how it's privatized. In a privatized system, individuals pay extra for a service. In this, they don't. Telus is providing the technology and get paid for it, yes. But I would assume any doctor using technology will be paying for it?

Figure I can absorb the cost because they're willing to rebate me for the old phone for about $45 but it comes by way of a 'virtual Telus MasterCard' instead of adding the credit to my bill which is what I would have preferred but got talked into the stupid card. 4/

He was willing to drop it off at a UPS by his place for me. Telus does have good customer service but I'm done learning new devices, new everything & jumping through hoops. I'm just tired of it. I just wanted my rebate because an unexpected charge showed up on my bill 7/

@pr0cs @TELUSsupport After 3 weeks of fighting with Telus agents, managers & escalation agents it took me going into a store & the young man there resolved my issue in less than 2 hours. If you want anything done with this company...go to a store. The agents on the phone are useless.

@thecanadiankop If you have a traditional tv package with Sportsnet channels you can sign in with your tv provider ie. Shaw, Telus etc. If not though you'd have to pay for Sportsnet now which is basically sportsnets version of dazn.
