@RogersHelps @betty1954178 Still can't access most websites, was told to contact technical support for all the devices in my home after an hour wait for support and disconnected several times. Called back and was told another 24 hours. Good thing for data on telus so I can follow the link!

Also as far as Telus is concerned I’m single. If they decide to not give me a good deal I can cancel and my “roommate” will just start a new account with all the perks. After a few years I will be off the books and a “new” customer myself if my “roommate” doesn’t get a good deal.

What bugs me most about @Rogers meltdown is having no choice but to remain a customer. Not moving mobile to @Bell because I keep mobile/internet with separate carriers precisely for outage events. And @TELUS is useless on int’l service. So I have to put up with Rogers’s crap.🤬

@NancyMartin2021 Switched my cell phones to Telus 3 weeks ago. Good thing! Had Bell Satellite before Rogers and wasn't fond of that. Everyone I know that has had Fibe weren't impressed with their service and switched to some else. Rogers is my only choice where I am

Literally switched off Fido (Rogers) network like a week before the outage. I had the privilege of choosing between Telus, Koodo (also Telus) and Bell. But it’s BC so really Bell isn’t a realistic option. Monopolies are awesome, never have to make a decision.

@msjs2021 We are with Telus for cell service. That's one smart thing that we did.

Outage. People: Can't get radiation therapy or call 911. Police: Our lines are down. Border: All lines down. ISED: I spoke to Rogers to share your frustration, all telco's are helping. Bell/Telus: get 50$ off if you switch. #CRTC: Canada has a world class communications system.

@MandyCroning @teach_n_travel All of them are bad. But learning that so much relies on just one of them is terrifying. (That said, if the Telus network went down, medical clinics/hospitals across Canada would go with them)

@HollieFelix @TekSavvyCSR I asked about switching to DSL which is slower than what I have, but it would need to be setup as a new service. Telus has no internet where I live and Bell has the same speed limits as what TS has on offer. (Makes sense as they resell it.) Going month to month with Rogers.

@Graham_DrinkBox Have some redundancy like you do now though. Bell and Telus aren't imune to outages. A local outage is just as annoying to an affected customer.
