You knew a million calls were coming cuz the media asked you how you were planning for it. Instead of reworking the service design, you said 'let Telus handle it' and it surprise surprise, fell over. Chewing out Telus wont fix the service design of a landrush telephone system.

@CJAY92 As for paying bills, start a bill book, every time a bill comes in write down the amount and when due, break it up into payday chunks so every two weeks! Bills due March 10 - 24 Telus phone, due on the 15th, $9,000 (like that) P.S. you’re an adult now!

@Eastlink That will be almost a month without any kind of service. Is this the image Eastlink wants to have. Time to switch to Telus because of this and the attitude of eastlink that they really don’t care. Is this the kind of customer service you offer your customers

Dix says he agree an online system will help. There will be a province wide system ready for April 12. Says there will still be a need for call centres. "We were repeatedly promised by Telus they would deliver the services and they did not meet contractual obligations." #bcpoli

  • BCTodayOfficial BC Today (@BCTodayOfficial) reported

Lee asks about contract for service provider developing BC-wide online #Covid vax booking option, which isn't set to be up and running until April 12. Then he wants to know if the gov's position is that Telus breached its contract with yesterday's issues #bcpoli

  • KevinSMcArthur Kevin McArthur (@KevinSMcArthur) reported

When BC wants to get serious about tech, there are those of us who know how it can be done, but you're going to have to get comfortable paying a dropout 6 figures and letting them have some real decisionmaking power. Until then, well, buy IBM, buy Telus and fail.

So I reset my wifi router cause it was acting up and now it’s barely starting back up. Don’t forget to mention that you’ll be unreliable in any emergency @TELUS

  • davidkcollins David Collins (@davidkcollins) reported

@keithbaldrey Maybe if people actually followed the rules to allow those legitimately calling in to book their appointment? The bottleneck of calls surely didn't help so it's not all on Telus or the province.

I think having Sable Detect is genius for me, since I work for Telus. I lag test you, and you have bad Internet? I can just sell the laggy people better Internet as a solution.

  • helloricecake helloricecake (@helloricecake) reported

@richardzussman is this a telus issue or a vch issue? seems a bit nuts to blame telus when vch had months to set up an online system.
