I got through. Turns out @Telus mistakenly canceled all my home services last night and now I have to wait until “the right department” opens to fix the problem.

@tedwoodhead @CRTCeng Apparently you don't live in Rural Canada. This is why city folk shouldn't make decisions about what goes on rurally. But you can believe what you like. Prices are up, services is down, speeds are down, bandwidth is terrible. Not just @telus. Everyone as far as I can tell.

@TELUSsupport @TELUS have called in and have done multiple online chats. Problem always seems solved at the end of those conveys only for nothing to happen. A month seems a little long for 5-7 business days. I’ve been told 5-7 more days 3 times now.

@saschasegan was reading the Speedtest for Canada and trying to understand the Telus/Bell result. Is it that their 5G works by using 5G and LTE at the same time, hence “5G is just another band on top of LTE”? In short, are they doing MIMO with multiple LTE signals & 1 5G signal?
