@TheFalconer @TELUS That’s total bullshit. CC fees have existed and not changed for decades. This is almost as bad as @CineplexMovies charging for a “booking fee” when we buy tix through the app

@TheFalconer @TELUS It is a tone deaf move absolutely. Non-profits are adding the fee to donations now which makes sense. Not sure why the very profitable Telus thought this was a good idea but it easily falls into the "not good customer service" column.I intend to protest this as a shareholder.

WOW - My contract is up with my current provider and not wanting to be part Rogers or Bell, @Telus was my #1 option for a new provider... damn. Not anymore. You can afford the 1.5% if I choose to pay by credit card. Can you imagine if all retailers charged this?

@tomjbrenner I ditched Telus a number of years ago, when they threatened to charge me for a service call to investigate a poor quality phone line. Not once, not twice, but three times. It was their equipment, dumped them.

@chex383pub @Speedtest It's 2 links. 1 TELUS Fibre and 1 Shaw. Both 1Gbit/s. My internal network is actually my limit. Shaw has up to 1.5Gbit/s now, I believe. IIRC. Have 2 1GigE Links in LACP to my server, and 2 1GigE LACP links from my router to my network.

@cferlisi @_pandawithavee_ @CityNewsTO Also think about this, Telus already knew they would have processing fees on credit cards so they would of accounted for that in their pricing plans on everyone. Now they are seeking to add that again to their pricing as another service fee.

@CTVNews Lol, what happened to Sock Boy reducing our cell bills by 25%. Canada has the most expensive cellular data in the entire world, stats prove it. I've been with Telus for 15+ years and always pay on time and my bill has not gone down at all
