@CBCNews That Telus is a beauty not only that Koodo the their other partner just sent out an email couple of weeks ago that they are upping fees $5 next month for no extra service they just worded the extra charge differently. Public Mobile might be the way to go

@TPK342 @CBCNews I was going to switch to Telus from Chat’r. Now that’s out. Any suggestions for a good non-ROGERS related server? I’ve had absolutely lousy phone service from Chat’r for 6 months since construction forced a tower move in our area.

@CBCNews Let them do this, will port my number from Telus to anything else and pay $15 instead of $70. Most of my calls are voip anyway because the signal sucks.

@CBCNews Telus made $1.7 billion in 2021, $1.3 bn in 2020. Quite sure the credit card fees have always been embedded in their profit equation. I also doubt the government will protect consumers. It never does against telcos.

@CRTCeng Where on your site can I make a complaint regarding telecoms such as Telus wanting to charge extra fees for payments made with a credit card?

@CBCNews Shame on you @Telus and the @CRTCeng for even considering this. There should be no service charge for simply paying a phone bill via cc. You are a multi-billion dollar corporation and can survive without implementing this.

So @TELUS you send me an email inviting me to switch cellphone service providers. Have been thinking about it. Find out Telus wants to gouge 1.5% from customers who pay with Credit cards. Well Telus kiss my behind good bye. If I change Telus is out of the running for my business.

@TELUS you already upped my bill by $5 per number, if you add the charge b/c I used a credit card, I’m gone as a customer. Not just for phones but for the internet and TV as well. @HedyFry why does your govt continue to allow telecoms to gouge customers?
