    @MarkShaw24 @TELUS They switched me over to their fibre optic system and I've had nothing but problems with my phone ever since. I don't use their email.

    Rogers is buying Shaw, **** Canada telecom tbh. I'm so sick of the big 3 monopoly we have here. **** you Shaw for selling out, **** you Rogers for being Rogers. I'm switching to Telus. Still one of the big 3, but at least it's not *rogers* or *bell* 🤮

    @SrushtiGangdev Telus won't like that! They will be pushed down to number three if this deal is approved. Some have not yet realized this also applies to cable TV and home internet service. It does not apply to Corus Ent. and stations like CKNW. Not sure about Global TV.

    @eppman The Shaw kids are probably positioning to semi-retire while holding seats in the Rogers boardroom as well as ownership of shares. I have been a loyal Shaw customer for decades. A company was was western Canadian. Ok Telus, I divorced you years ago but will come back to you now

    @Pagmenzies @alexposadzki @globeandmail Telus attempted a hostile takeover of Bell a few years back that got shot down by regulators. Hopefully this happens to Rogers, too. Not holding my breath on that.

    @NathanDorval My guess? Because they're still competing with two other major national players in Telus and Bell for national cell service, and they'd still be competing with Telus for regional home services.
