    @jodyvance @TELUS Telus box stopped working for my nearly 80 year old mom. She called them to fix it. They told her it was her remote for her TV. Then told her it was her TV. Then dropped off a “free security camera” for her trouble and neglected to tell her they signed her up on a monthly plan - none of which she asked for. Finally I went out to the house (this was during Christmas literally) and tried to get everything working but it was clearly their box not booting. So she asked them to come to the house and fix it. Dec 30 they two techs came. Made everything finally work - by replacing the box! Then charged my mom $400 for their visit. I checked her invoice, told her to send the camera back and cancel their security scam on an elderly woman and demand they refund the $400. They then charged her for the camera saying it was not returned. Finally after many months of fighting they “found the camera” and reversed that nearly $200 charge, but I do not think they ever fully refunded other the $400 for them to replace a fricking cable box. I think in the end she gave up after they gave her back some of it. Telus Robbery!

    @jodyvance @TELUS Gotta love Canadian telecom companies. We pay some of the highest fees for the worst service.

    Not while my mobile bill is $125 they're not???? Wtf - we have the highest mobile rates in the G7. I'm tired of getting robbed by Rogers/Bell/Telus tf?

    @TELUS After being on hold and trying to get past IT service reps for about 50 hrs and A week I cancelled and went to Rogers

    @JayJanower You are saying on Matt show you have it on authority Caps lost 40 million per year ? Aside from this year player wages were 14 m so total budget at max for caps would be 40m ish. that’s poor/lazy reporting to think they lost that much ? 🍎Tv is 8m/yr Telus is 4 m/yr

    @MobileMikeV @SawyerMerritt Funny my Telus fibre optic is less reliable than my starlink was. After taxpayer rural fibre was added (thanks everyone) I did lower my bill $50 a month at the time. (It crept back up and starlink is cheaper now). But starlink had no slow downs. Telus fibre still does. It’s strange. Top soeeds (although I only need about 20-30 were about 150 for starlink and 3-400 for Telus. So apparently it is faster (just of no benefit to my usage)…but the micro slowdowns are.

    @The_Brian_Life Canada needs its own in house CDN ownedcAI data centre. Telus is a reasonable candidate Having two downtown Vancouver - why? MT Pleasant is very close . Water is an issue and noise concerns - huge
