They serve many Alberta customers.** Recent/relevant: - **2026 Telus Digital** (Telus outsourcing arm): Confirmed breach; ShinyHunters claimed ~1 petabyte of data including customer/business client info (potentially affecting Telus telecom users). - **2026 Rogers/Fido**: Alleged breach; 10.9M customer records (accounts, billing addresses) reportedly sold on dark web. - **Bell Canada**: 2017 (~1.9M customer emails/phone numbers); 2018 (100k); 2024 (2.2M data leak).     @TELUS was offered a promo today but due to technical issues on the reps end, I wasn't able to get it. They told me I had to call them back another day Why do I need to call & wait on hold to redeem an offer that'll end up in me paying you guys more a month for? Seems backwards.

    @Bellrules @david_parker Central Alberta, every year I get one for olds, sundre, carstairs, Crossfield, Didsbury and a few others. There’s also the white pages online. Last week I phoned Telus directory search for a phone number in Sask, the service texted me the name, number and address.

    @nenshi When I was working on 5G towers the Filipino Temporary Foreign Workers were falling off of the Towers and dying. Rogers and Telus did not pay out compensation because they were sub contracted to the projects for 50 cents on the dollar. Also the Temporary workers brought down wages of Canadians. Is this the society we want? Cheap and disposable labor? Canada is not as good as the 1980s and 1990s and 2000s.

    @CP24 I have family in North Van (Vancouver), Telus is the only carrier for North Van. Everyone had problems with internet, phones, etc.

    @globeandmail Telus is such a dog **** company, we need US competition. Canadian telecoms barely have any canadians working for them

    @JayGenXer but sadly he couldnt even last his trial period of 2 months at TELUS ...the only real world job he has ever had....and you think he can run a country ? ...He will never be PM and he certainly wont be one for long as he will never get a majority.

    all you got was nothing for that wifi. that will be fix. new wifi router. telus will not be giving you the password. that is why you do not use cellphone data. they go to the cellphone company and steal all your passwords and hack you. they have the router.

    Streaming services that offer more programming for as little as $10/mo. vs $100/mo. for a cable tv corporation with lousy programming and ****** service. Put Rogers, Telus and Bell into bankruptcy Canada, you’ll thank me later.
