  @PrairieVeteran City of Calgary has 5 Level mgmt that can get down to 4 then 3 in 2 years. Redundancy positions. Buy off older Gen with 2 yrs severance pay. TELUS cut off 1400 employees by counting on the NEXT GEN. Stop adding personnel. ADMIN changes. Leadership? Positions stay the same. @DanWMcLean

  @PsudoMike Seems like a big bath. Telus just bought back Telus digital after spinning it out. New ceo taking a big write down so big bonuses and results later on. Lower expectations, outperform.

  @MPelletierCIO I agree likely still has lower to go, but Dodig may have kitchen sinked the quarter to exceed expectations later. For instance, 2.1b write down for Digital may be excessive if sovereign data centres gain traction with govt support. Telus is the only one pursuing this build out.

FOCUS ON WIRELESS NETWORKS AND NETWORK INFRA UPGRADES! $AMPG just got best possible news from their biggest client 🔥 Telus just reported their earnings and increased their CAPEX from $2.3B to $2.6B. The old guide implied roughly $970M of H2 spending. The new guide implies roughly $1.27B. And the new CEO listed where money goes from here: the wireless networks, network infrastucture upgades and site enablememt is on the list. Telus just raised the one line that pays its equipment suppliers. I think I know one of those suppliers. Long AmpliTech 🔥🚀

  @MrStache9 I ditched Telus over a year ago. My friends in Kitchener & my brother ditched Bell. Too expensive & ****** service. I haven’t had a land line for more than 10 years. I’m with Rogers now, for both home and cell service. Telus I was paying over $100 just for my cell. With Rogers I pay $25 for my cell. Cable wise, Rogers isn’t much cheaper but it is more reliable.
