Anyone on the Koodo cellular plan which is owned by @telus better be prepared to pay more for their mobile fees. Telus actively discussing taking all it Koodo subscribers back to it corporate Telus + shutting cheaper rates + it Koodo affiliate down. May happen.

@PoKo_Doppio @Crackmacs @getmoby That’s so frustrating!! Last year when I had to renew shaw didn’t care and was going to charge me $200/mo. Switched to Telus and it’s awful! Service drops out, took four months to actually get my bill correct. I’ve heard Telus is great in newer areas though.

@Quea_Ali @TELUS I agree. Felt bad for the guy. He looked very uncomfortable and I doubt anyone wants to interact with him. At least he was working.

@BCTallTrees I grew up with Shaw and their customer service is brutal. I prefer telus to Shaw for me.

@TELUS So much for your free preview of Crave & HBO that started today. Only HBO is working. Black screen on all the Crave channels. If you’re trying to lure customers to subscribe, that’s a bad first impression.

What’s the better phone/ internet provider? (I’m in Bc so there may be providers elsewhere not here) (Also: if Telus were an inanimate object, I’d spit on it, light it on fire, piss on it then grind it into atoms 🤬...just curious if they’re all bad b4 switching)

  • gregorytaylor1 Gregory Taylor (@gregorytaylor1) reported

I hope Telus kept the receipt for the commissioned report on wireless prices in Canada. The CRTC shot it down rather abruptly: "this selection bias in the data sheds doubt on the validity of the conclusions drawn in the study." The word "accurate" in the title is a red flag.
