@Swiftie01 The problem with Telcos is Canadas small population with large land mass. Building a network is a huge cost so the only way a competitor can operate is to resell Rogers, Bell, Telus and to a lesser extent Shaw and Cogeco. The company will never control their bottom line.

  • Samthomas0015 SamThomas0015 (@Samthomas0015) reported

@WeAreCanProud Trudeaus corporate buddies would never allow competition. How do you think it has dwindled down to Bell, Rogers and Telus? Anti Trust law is a bad phrase in Trudeaus cult

  • themoneysensei 💰Money Sensei 💵 (@themoneysensei) reported

Recently switched to Fido saving $60 a month Called TELUS to say I want to cancel my home internet. Got them to offer $25 less a month Called Globe and Mail and said I want to cancel. Got them to offer $32 less a month Total monthly savings = $117

@MrWickDoe @CPComm @alexposadzki "Spectrum Stacking" means that if Bell and Telus each own licenses for 100Mhz of channel width, their customer devices benefit from 200Mhz of spectrum. They also split the capex and operating costs along East-West boundaries. (1/2)

  • rants_grants GrantsRants (@rants_grants) reported

@mgeist I really don't think you can claim the decision of the tribunal was rushed and actually it shifts Rogers, a much stronger competitor than Shaw, into direct competition with Telus in BC and Alberta. The cellular piece, which Rogers won't own anyways, was never profitable for Shaw

  • Sam_Alexandra23 Stephanie Alexandra (@Sam_Alexandra23) reported

@paratrooperFYMM @AnthonyLacavera I found Shaw more expensive than Telus so switched and the service is actually better but I totally agree Canada needs to allow more competition, not less and get these prices down - why do Canadians always pay so much more than other countries?

  • MarkJambull Mark Whitely (@MarkJambull) reported

dam slow ; my phone went dead & telus says its going to be 2 weeks to get fixed ; what a load of bull 😡

  • Satya_SRT Satya (@Satya_SRT) reported

@TELUS is your server down for creating a new account? Despite trying multiple times to receive a code via email, didn't receive a single email from you. After sometime it was throwing an error saying try again after 2 hours, and the same repeats forever from yesterday.

  • ReadyFireAimCA Ready Fire Aim (@ReadyFireAimCA) reported

@awilkinson @myfirstmilpod @awilkinson RE: iMessage issues, look into a dual-SIM iPhone. Give out the number to the throw away SIM freely, keep your personal SIM/number closely guarded. Telus, Bell, Rogers, etc all support this.

@AICommunitybyTI Lol don't work for telus. They're greedy and awful. They treat us Canadians badly and will treat thai people badly as well.
