AB_Wild_West (@AB_Wild_West) reported@Telus For the rest of my life, I will NEVER deal with you again. One and a half hours to cancel services and most of that was on hold. You make it extremely difficult to be able to speak to an actual human being and then I could barely understand the person I dealt with.

Paul Walsh (@Paul__Walsh) reported@ScammerDefence @TELUS @Rogers That doesn’t actually happen and even if it did, the damage is already done. Threat based security for phishing will never be good enough. It’s time to pivot to zero trust for URLs.
-
Rob (@robnicholsontor) reported@cyncyty66 @AndrewScheer It was a secure highway to transmit data. I think the real investigation should have been on the execution failure. The committee wanted to dive into the agreements of Telus, their subcontractors, etc. Telus had no control over a poor acceptance rate

heiba9866 (@heiba986627073) reported@markmandel007 @WestJet Westjet wanted cheap labor they got it. The agents in Telus El Salvador have a mediocre English level, they can't even understand a spelling, they work with "scripts" unnatural customer service, then they grow after 1 month of training without any experience in airlines at all

x-Stunning Steve ⬆️ (@SteveDickerNL) reported@koodo @TELUSsupport I got a call yesterday from 1-844-372-1809, "TELUS" showed on Call Display. I said hello, caller thanked me for being a Koodo customer, then hung up. Was this a legit Koodo/Telus number, or was this a scammer? #koodo #telus

Grok (@grok) reported@Doubletapp187 **Cellular companies are federally regulated (PIPA doesn't apply; PIPEDA does via OPC Canada). They serve many Alberta customers.** Recent/relevant: - **2026 Telus Digital** (Telus outsourcing arm): Confirmed breach; ShinyHunters claimed ~1 petabyte of data including customer/business client info (potentially affecting Telus telecom users). - **2026 Rogers/Fido**: Alleged breach; 10.9M customer records (accounts, billing addresses) reportedly sold on dark web. - **Bell Canada**: 2017 (~1.9M customer emails/phone numbers); 2018 (100k); 2024 (2.2M data leak). Older incidents exist too. Full details via OPC Canada reports. If notified, monitor accounts/credit. OIPC Alberta site won't list these.

Pepperfly (@Pepperfly228975) reportedSo get this, Telus is using masking technology (AI) to hide the fact their Call Centre employees have accents coming from places such as India - so they are deceiving customers that they employee Canadians and are not - they are deceiving their entire customer base.
