Mark Topham (@MarkTopham83949) reported@TELUS the level of disgust I feel over your handling of the lawsuit regarding 911 and Dean Switzer death was easily sufficient for me to terminate my account.
-
LA (@trying2help) reported@The_Brian_Life Canada needs its own in house CDN ownedcAI data centre. Telus is a reasonable candidate Having two downtown Vancouver - why? MT Pleasant is very close . Water is an issue and noise concerns - huge

Glen Bell (@GlenBellWX) reported@TELUSsupport @TELUS Is there a problem with telus home billing agent support right now. I've been on hold for 1hr 15min currently and over 1hr last evening before being disconnected because call center went closed. Ridiculous

Crypto IA Décodé (@cryptoiadecode) reported@McnallieM @TELUS Let's build @TELUS. One postal code per century. The growth never stops.
-
Eddie Torrez (@EdInTheBush) reported@ogre_codes Something like the Microsoft example did happen on a Canadian airline WestJet. The worst telecom company in Canada (Telus) gets all the labeling and credit for providing outstanding WiFi with SpaceX and/or Starlink not mentioned anywhere (they are the actual provider).

🇨🇦🌈💙💛🇺🇦🇬🇱🇹🇼 (@casualcactii) reported@avilewis @always_vote Especially @TELUS , I can’t even figure out your phone bill or answer the phone on time. Those are structural issues that never get resolved.
-
Debra Mcpherson🍎 (@DebraMcphe31401) reported@MrStache9 Argh.. it’s like in the song Hotel California— once in you can never leave. I tried cancelling all my mom’s Telus stuff last year and it was nearly impossible. In the end I paid a penalty. They had scammed her into a long term contract! At 94. Sheesh!

A (@Jupadia1) reported@TELUS if your going to call and bug me to switch service. Then at least have a human on the other end making the call. I should not have to pause and wait around for the computer to tell a human in a different country to pick up the phone and talk.

Jd (@ProfesorRefer) reported@Tablesalt13 For those that want to know TELUS outsources the most: It runs a massive global BPO operation (TELUS International/digital solutions) with call centers and services abroad. Its Canadian headcount has steadily declined while global grew. • Bell does offshore some customer service/IT (complaints about India/Philippines agents and recent moves are common). • Rogers has done the least visible offshoring for customer-facing roles: It publicly committed to (and delivered) 100% Canadian-based call centers/customer service teams (including repatriating Shaw jobs in 2023). It still positions itself as the only national carrier with this focus, though recent cuts, AI, and third-party shifts have drawn criticism like the others.

notadampaul (@notadampaul) reported@tunguz you've never seen an oligopoly better-suited to bungling every conceivable natural advantage than Canadian telecoms. You should not be bullish on this if Telus is involved in any capacity whatsoever
