@merry123459 I just never put all my eggs into one basket. My internet is with Rogers but my cellphone service is with Telus. I was still able to use my data to do whatever I needed to do online. Can you imagine if I didn't do that?

@MargaretChown @dbeggs13 Agreed but it can happen to their competition. I recommend unbundling services. Get Rogers Internet and Telus phones. Or Bell. Or any combination. Don't let one provider keep you completely in the dark. I had service through my Telus phone, even though my Rogers internet was out.

I’ll be leaving @Fidomobile at the end of my contract (2 months to go). Any network suggestions? I’ve heard good things about Telus.

@checkupcbc more competition will not help - my Telus is flaky at home and flaky at the cabin. Nationalize, and integrate networks with redundancy. Let telecoms do retail not networks.

@RogersHelps @RebellionSocks You mean your technical team which has the competency of a bunch of passed out drunkards are hardly working to make the outage as long as possible. 3 days thank god Telus still works.

@LeafsLoyalty Nightmare. I have Bell internet so thankfully I had some communication during the outage. Don't want to put all my eggs in one basket but might switch the phone to Telus to spread it around. It's absolutely infuriating.

I think the major providers Bell,Rodgers,Telus..need to understand how inconvient it is to not have service..come up with a plan for one service when down to piggy back onto another (for their customers)..it's only fair!!

@SteveRickettsSP @kaclk Both, I believe the original deal was struck when Telus bought Clearnet PCS. Outside of urban centres pretty much only Telus has towers/antennas west of Saskatchewan and only Bell East of it. There is some version of backend network routing that lets them switch.
