    @NelsonHackewich @cjones2451 That isn’t even the inherent problem. Eg. Flames has Telus as helmet sponsor while NHL obviously partners with Rogers. This issue is whether those team-level deals having exclusivity in team/player branding over the league. I honestly didn’t even know that was a thing lol

    Hey government of Canada, maybe Telus can first try to provide more than one bar of mobile signal strength in the heart of the biggest cities in Canada before they get to "build" our "sovereign AI"? Just a thought.

They serve many Alberta customers.** Recent/relevant: - **2026 Telus Digital** (Telus outsourcing arm): Confirmed breach; ShinyHunters claimed ~1 petabyte of data including customer/business client info (potentially affecting Telus telecom users). - **2026 Rogers/Fido**: Alleged breach; 10.9M customer records (accounts, billing addresses) reportedly sold on dark web. - **Bell Canada**: 2017 (~1.9M customer emails/phone numbers); 2018 (100k); 2024 (2.2M data leak). Older incidents exist too. Full details via OPC Canada reports. If notified, monitor accounts/credit. OIPC Alberta site won't list these.

    A fibre cut has left Telus customers in several northern B.C. communities without internet, TV, home phone, and wireless services. The outage, affecting areas such as Masset and Prince Rupert, is due to vandalism, according to Telus. The company has not yet provided an estimated time of repair.
