@LukeRadau @TELUS I've got a booster too. Weird part is when my hub fails my cell phone still has good functional internet service. Thought they both worked off same cell signal.

@Shawhelp We’ve screen shots of every conversation with them. It’s every 24- 48 hours. We will be speaking to @TELUS to bring us service since it’s obvious Shaw can’t nor do they care.

@BittiegirlDonna @RogersHelps Actually I kinda lied, we use Telus for cell, have for over 10 years and never once had a major issue, a couple of minor ones but customer service really was excellent, and they're always helpful when we have questions. Now if we could just ditch Rogers I'd be happy!

@johndotbastable In the east, Telus uses Bell towers. Out west, Bell uses Telus towers. They have an infrastructure sharing agreement for the towers. And then Telus has to back-haul that into their network, which likely uses leased Bell and Rogers fiber lines, as Telus has no fiber out here.

We cut our ties to Rogers in 2008 when they still had video stores where you could pay your bills at the counter. Never went back and never would. Telus has never had any problems and always have great customer service every day They also have the best cell towers/optik in Canada

@TELUS Extremely disappointed and angry. My 98 yr old dad, long time customer, has been paying $50/month for a broken alarm service & obsolete panel! Promised a call/email today & rcvd nothing. Careless/sharp practice? One or both. Still waiting. #NOTok

As the Rogers network outage continues, I’m still continuing to get emails from @Rogers addressed to my dead dad, even after being asked to send over his death certificate to confirm the account name change. This is the final nail in the coffin. Time to move on to Telus. 👋

@globalnews Root cause of Rogers' outage was EMPEROR XI'S HACKERS! First stage in Xi's revenge for Trudeau rejecting Huawei 5G in Canada, & for holding Huawei heiress Meng Wanzhou under house arrest for months! The Emperor is not amused. Bell next? Telus?

@robnicholsontor Classification is an oligopoly at a high level, but the pressures are monopolistic when they can fail and take out the whole banking system. Bell and Telus were fine, but just a Rogers failure was able to grind the country to a halt.

Yes, Canadian telecom prices are too high. But opening the market to more competition won’t fix the infrastructural problems, because that competition will still be on the Rogers and Bell/Telus networks (unless they’re nationalized). “Competition” is the wrong frame here.

@ChadOhman @TELUS I spent hours and hours going through their “help” line trying to get their optik tv to work. It was painful. They really have no idea. Techs to my house, different browsers, wiping caches, everything. It’s brutal. I wish you luck.
