Telus Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Arpan Parhar (@arpan_on_BC) reportedI hate to give Bell credit for something but amount of issues we have faced since switching over internet (from Shaw) and TV (from Bell) are absolutely ridiculous. Would never recommend Telus to anyone.
-
Danny Underwood (@danny_underwood) reported@leadsheep1 I switched from Shaw due to the horrible customer service, I’m now on Telus and they have... horrible customer service. They are all bad and some of the most expensive prices in the world.
-
Beth Allan (@adolwyn) reported@justinhobson85 @Wx_Ninja I haven’t had issues with them since they let me manually choose who’s towers I used. Once I was able to use Telus towers in Alberta (especially rural Alberta), my issue with their wireless service went away.
-
Boris Kariloff (@BKariloff) reported@steeletalk @CKNW I had terrible experiences with both Shaw and Rogers’s.I am with Telus and they have been excellent. We need more competition no less maybe from Europe or the US
-
Paul Andrews (@PaulEAndrews) reported@SneakyCanadian @Shawhelp TELUS is no better. In fact less transparent on outages. When our business had TELUS we had nothing but issues with them reporting on outages. In this case we’ve been told it’s a fibre cut, at least Shaw is working on it, TELUS would still be discussing how to solve.
-
Arpan Parhar (@arpan_on_BC) reportedWhy is your service so consistently bad? Absolutely embarrassing. @TELUS @TELUSsupport
-
Lee Townsend (@Beeman1979) reported@ThomsonCam I live 20 minutes from YEG and I have horrid cell service (so I had to install a booster) and am stuck with Telus Hub for internet. Canadian Telecom and all layers of gov keep promising better service that never comes. So off to Starlink I go.
-
Mike (@milkmanleeroy) reported@strategyrick @steeletalk That’s fair. I have no services with Rogers or Shaw. I’m with Telus for Internet and cell phones. I’ve always thought they had amazing customer care over the years. And while, yes, Telus also outsourced a lot of reps across the world, I’ve had some amazing service from them.

Barry ‘Big Ed’ Gibson (@Bgstony) reported@maxfawcett Never felt I ever had much choice. I guess in the past decade Telus has competed with Shaw for my cable. And of course there’s always satellite. But I never really considered this monopoly industry to be competitive to my benefit. Rogers owning Shaw doesn’t really change that.

Pxsimonz (@pxsimonz) reported@VancouverBlues @GlobalCalgary You think Telus owns the convention centre? You are too stupid to be allowed to vote.
