@aboardtuber @FreedomMobile If your device didn't support the LTE bands supported by them (first was band 66, then 13, then the common ones also used by rogers bell and telus, along with USA carriers), then you'll always be stuck on 3G (4G or H+ if your device overrides it).

My Wi-Fi died and TELUS has to come out to fix it. Service call is Tuesday so I had to ask my mom to be at my house because I am working.

BUT, I’ve been paying WAAAAAY too much So, this week I switched to #freedommobile and all I received from Telus was an email that said “sorry to see you go” No “please stay” or incentives to stay on. This is just a brutal reflection of terrible customer service.
I have been a #telus customer since I got my first cell phone in 2001. Their customer service and incentives early in these years were amazing. I did get locked into contract year after year because their network coverage was outstanding.
