Omni G (@OmniG7) reported@Tablesalt13 So what your saying is, if we track the imie number we can link which members were doing this and if we have Telus phone records for example for the most recent hacks from the big 3 phone companies we could further narrow down providers and who specifically was abusing this. Fyi hacking is fun if used for the betterment of the country, not what they are doing.

Rob Cornwall (@kidco_Rob2025) reported@GlobalCalgary what is going on with the news. I watch daily and it’s all messed up. There’s a glitch happening with the service. It’s all scrambled, not sure if it’s a Telus thing or a Global thing. I’ve had to switch to CTV a few times(which I don’t enjoy).

Nachiket (@Nachiketd1981) reported@TELUS after multiple calls and follow up, my current bill is again higher. This is happening again.added fees for the services which has been cancelled. Not sure why i am not getting a permanent solution for this? Very bad customer service for sure.

Crunchyroll breach: • ~1.2M emails confirmed (subset of a larger dataset) • Third-party vendor (Telus Digital) compromised • Malware → Okta SSO → internal tools exposed (~24h access) Data taken: • Emails, names, usernames • IPs + approximate locations • Full support tickets (billing issues, chats, activity logs) That means attackers know: • Your recent support conversations • Billing disputes or issues • Account activity patterns Enough to send highly convincing phishing. Timeline: • Mar 12 → initial breach • Mar 23 → ~6.8M emails claimed • Late Mar → data sold on forums • Apr 4 → 1.2M verified (HIBP) Crunchyroll says no passwords leaked. But context > passwords. What to do: • Change password (especially if reused) • Enable 2FA (authenticator app) • Check HIBP • Watch for targeted emails/SMS This was a supply-chain breach.

I switched to another provider on the 24th of February cus of increasing monthly bills which I have tried to resolve but to no avail.
