    @hitthepost @TELUS In my area the fibre runs in back alley on poles which then they run line in from in air. Which a bad install could be messed up by weather (snow) at connection point. Good support call help can look at connection from their side but not sure if it tracks history or just live.

    @hitthepost @TELUS We had issue in condo with ADSL when we got dual line version as one was shorting out randomly and dropping connection (visible via tv signal skipping). Took the right tech level to fix it. The simplest techs wanted to swap box inside when I kept telling them it was external.

    @leighfromcanada Sounds about right. When I was a Telus customer many years ago, they sent me a box of chocolates and a card for Christmas one year. The next year, I got a bill falsely claiming $12,874 for data overages, which took 5 months to resolve.

    @jsrioux I'm curious, does the Shaw remote provide parental controls based on the voice? I'm a Telus customer and we don't have that feature, at least not that I know about

    @gerrybuddy Roger's and I think shaw. But telus and bell do. Sooo painful to call them. Its terrible. I'm All for businesses doing whatever they have to make money, but when you're Goliath like they are, I'm sure you can afford $15/$20 hr to employ Canadians

    hey @telus -- i was recently switched to your fibre optic network: lots of new hardware. all things fine. today, the signal is coming and going. one minute i'm getting 70mbps, then the next minute 0. is there a reason for this today in calgary ?
