@SPhillipsAB @TELUS @telusmobility The truth is that all they care about is the number of new customers. It is their only real metric. Straight from the mouth of a telco customer rep.

  • MizzyII Mizz👠🇨🇦 (@MizzyII) reported

BEWARE: There is a company called WinMacTel calling from 587-943-0411. If U answer your phone, somehow they incur a cost of $3.89 per minute on your local service provider bill. It's as if you accepted a collect call. Telus cannot explain how this occurs but it is charged 2 you.

@SPhillipsAB @TELUS @telusmobility I’ve loved the service from Virgin. I’ve been with most of the others - except for Freedom - Virgin Canada has treated me better than all of them combined!!

  • cooleen1977 Colleen Gray (@cooleen1977) reported

@SPhillipsAB @TELUS @telusmobility Switched our daughter from TELUS to Shaw, to give it a test. $25/month with Shaw (have to have internet with them to get that) with unlimited data. Daughter is the YouTube queen and no complaints or problems so far. Once our device balances are paid off, we will all go to Shaw

  • seanfordyce Sean Fordyce (@seanfordyce) reported

@CRTCeng What are you going to do now that they all did not bother? Telus did not even advise their tech support and cust service that people would be calling. It does not exist. Customers can leave if they want as competition doesn't have it either. Everyone laughing at CRTC.

    Telus and Moneris not working?

  • seanfordyce Sean Fordyce (@seanfordyce) reported

On Telus but can see other carriers not putting it on websites. Had tech support confirm it does not exist on Telus except for the Google pixel. And tech did not even know about it before I told him. Clearly they are not afraid of CRTC?

@distinctivename @johnsonave I came to echo the Ubiquiti thing. Everything on my side of the Telus modem is UI gear, and its been great so far. I went incrementally, from router, to APs and now cameras. It can even automatically reboot the modem if the router detects the internet is down.
