@arnesalvesen Yes, optic on telus. It’s been happening for a while, same channel, same time. Surely they must be aware of it & try to fix it? Seems really amateur?

@TELUS @TELUSsupport you guys are 100% losing customers due to your horrible customer service. Your AI agent is useless on the phone "I understand" humanising comments being repeated is a waste of everyone's time. No option to bypass the 5 mins of BS with AI agent verifying, only to have to do it again. A lack of proper training in your overseas call centre is obvious. Again, with redundant language meant to intimate an effort to manage expectations, but all it's doing it wasting more time on both ends. That a person needs to get transferred to multiple departments to deal with any services screams disorganisation. What should have been a 15-20 minute call (including hold time) was 2 hours yesterday, with no solutions due to errors on your end "we will call you back in 24-48 hours" on a time sensitive matter that your competition was able to address in 15 mins TOTAL time on the phone. Crazy idea, maybe instead of gauging us to keep the upper brass earning way more money than any company CEO deserves...you can bring customer support back to Canada. You know, make jobs for Canadians. DO NOT REPLY TO ME ON THIS.

@TELUSsupport When Alberta leaves Canada, can we open up phone competition? The retards at Telus use Guatemala 🇬🇹 for customer service for Albertans. What a joke.

@TELUS why doesn’t your service actually work and why is it that when I have a problem I am talking to someone from a different country who doesn’t seem to know what’s going on 99% of the time?

@TELUS trying to call telus mobility for support and when being transferred to agent I get generic message that offices are closed. It's 734pm eastern, 434pm pacific, how are your offices closed? Is telus bankrupt?

Realizing they are exactly the same, who is slightly less awful for home internet/tv, Telus or Rogers? My Telus deal is up so I’m trying to decide what to do but I also need someone to tell me what to do.

I can't even begin to express my extreme frustration with @telus as a company and their customer service workflow. My father passed away 3 weeks ago. I've been trying to settle his account, close accounts, pay bills, etc. I've spent 5 hours on the phone to date... 6 calls. And just received another $500+ "overdue" bill that I settled weeks ago. And you try to call their support number on their website. And instead you get a sales pitch... no opt out. So I "press #" and it kicks you out saying this number doesn't work in my calling area (I'm in Canada). So I write down the number they suggest... only to have it come right back to the same voice workflow... and the same death loop. I was able to reroute my Father's hydro bill in less than 10 minutes. I don't think Telus realizes how much potential revenue they are losing as a result of their clunky, poor quality controlled customer experience. Try to book a call back? Only to be told they will call back in three days... and when they do... the automated voice system is entirely in French.... And EVERY single rep I talk to ends up just trying to upsell me on a new service... when all I am trying to do is shut down my father's accounts, settle his bills, and move on. Every step of my experience with Telus has been unnecessarily painful.

They didn’t leak passwords. They leaked something worse. Crunchyroll breach: • ~1.2M emails confirmed (subset of a larger dataset) • Third-party vendor (Telus Digital) compromised • Malware → Okta SSO → internal tools exposed (~24h access) Data taken: • Emails, names, usernames • IPs + approximate locations • Full support tickets (billing issues, chats, activity logs) That means attackers know: • Your recent support conversations • Billing disputes or issues • Account activity patterns Enough to send highly convincing phishing. Timeline: • Mar 12 → initial breach • Mar 23 → ~6.8M emails claimed • Late Mar → data sold on forums • Apr 4 → 1.2M verified (HIBP) Crunchyroll says no passwords leaked. But context > passwords. What to do: • Change password (especially if reused) • Enable 2FA (authenticator app) • Check HIBP • Watch for targeted emails/SMS This was a supply-chain breach.
