One thing I noticed during today's power outage in #vernonbc is that the @TELUS cell network couldn't handle the extra load from everyone checking the internet to find out what was going on.

Holy crap my @TELUS (@TELUSsupport ) internet has been so bad for like the last 2 weeks, sometimes so bad it disconnects every 30 mins for hours. I think I might have to think about switching my providers.

NEVER had such an issue when I was originally with Telus, sure speeds weren't comparable, but my ping was never this horrific.

Hey @TELUS - you phone our household about once every two weeks to ask if we want home internet service despite the fact that YOU DON’T RUN INTERNET TO OUR NEIGHBOURHOOD.
