@MarkJCarney Telus stock is way down, is this just another financial bailout?

@Eric_OTooleMP @MarkJCarney I actually don't have much issue with this confirmation of service demand. It's a yes or no question ... "Hey Telus, do you provide service to 416-555-1212?" Essentially, "if we were to send you a court order about 416-555-1212, are we barking up the wrong tree?"

@TruthFringe @BlueJays Call and threaten to cancel, Bell will give it to you for $80 locked in for 2 years. I left Bell for Telus @ $69 for 1.5GB. When I called to cancel Bell offered me $80 for 2 years locked in (Telus is 5 years). Problem with bell was, every year they add $5 increase ever year like clockwork.

@PeterMeiszner TELUS established BPO operations via TELUS Digital, which runs customer service and support centres in Guatemala and the Philippines involving access to Canadian personal data. In March 2026 TELUS Digital was breached, exposing nearly a petabyte of sensitive records.

@NoahGairn @MattShel1989 For me, this aversion is a mote choice, and really doesn't belong to them exlcusively. Maybe time to help the RACF staff who are indifferent to move on. Maybe a career with Telus?

Hey government of Canada, maybe Telus can first try to provide more than one bar of mobile signal strength in the heart of the biggest cities in Canada before they get to "build" our "sovereign AI"? Just a thought.
