@arakwar87 @TekSavvyBuzz @Bell Here in Montreal I have Rogers, Telus and Vidéotron that all supposedly compete for clients. They all mostly have their own network. I can switch from one to the other. Where are the protected regions?

So @telus @telussupport charged me a $45 connection fee for me new phone, because I had to connect over their chat line, because I couldn't go to a store to do it, because of the pandemic lock-down. A disgusting #cashgrab and very poor business ethics #greed

@smgrinus Shaw internet 300. But after all the rental of pods and modem and landline, the cost was $186/mo. The new TELUS one is fiber so it’s fast and it’s $135/mo. We kept landline for emergency use to contact home

BCE, Rogers and Telus all claimed emergency wage subsidies worth a combined $225 min while continuing to pay ***, a choice that has angered some MOP and could end up complicating life for the three cod, whose outlooks depend on a no. of upcoming policy decisions going their way.

@Bryson_M So in MB, with MTS not longer part of the friendly “Mobility” consortium of provincial telco mobile services, Bell and Telus started to build their own network to compete. They are the ones who tried to steal customers from incumbent MTS, forcing prices down.

@TekSavvyBuzz @Bell @TELUS is charging us over $200/ month for optic tv & internet service. The outrageous thing, we pay for 25 mbps download/upload. We barely get 8.5... wifi barely reaches out if the room where my modem is. Put boosters in, still absolutely crap speed. Very unimpressed
