@Shadeau90z I had Telus service. The only thing was, when I went to a couple of different restaurants, they were not accepting debit, only cash and credit.

Feeling pretty good about my decision to keep my Bell internet and move to Fibe tv. I only pay $10 to keep my landline and my cell is Koodo (Telus). I had Rogers for half a day once and would *never* make that mistake again. #rogersoutage #RogersLetsNotTalkDay

@JeffKirdeikis 🇨🇦here! Depending on who your carrier is. Rogers was down for almost the whole day. I’m with Telus and my internet and credit cards worked just fine. It’s back up now 🙏🏻

@FP_Champagne Maybe Telus and bell can help with passports Canada and the airports, since your government can’t.

ALSO, Rogers' Mobile services started all coming back online around the time AZ streamed so there's a good chance ya had cell svc during her stream. (Assuming you have a phone that uses Rogers' infrastructure and not Bell's or Telus'.) Some companies who DIDN'T have any problems:

@CraigShouldice @BrandonAmyot @austzw I have Videotron for mobile, in Barrhaven, it's run off Telus's equipment. Has been very good. Fixed internet is Bell Fibe (Business), can't remember it ever being down in 3y, except for about 1 day of the recent 10 day power outage. No complaint.

@gmbutts @MarkDWiseman Maybe if the practice of appointing former Bell/Telus/Rogers execs to the top ranks of the CRTC ended, we might get somewhere. More often than not, those guys act like they're still working in the private sector and not the public service.

@CP24 Why couldn't Roger's switch everyone to use Bell or Telus in an emergency?
