@MelissaLMRogers @TELUSsupport You're paying for an expensive phone. I pay about $35 before discounts for an unlimited plan with Public mobile. It uses the name Telus network. Feel free to use my referral bonus. 7W08EK My specific plan isn't available now but anything more than about $35 and you're overpaying

@jodyvance @TELUS Telus. Told them the PVR was the problem. Several looong calls with Guatemala, Philippines, India, each with a "FIX". Stopped one problem, caused another. Finally they did what I told them needed to be done. Sent a tech with a new modem. WASTED many hours of my time.

@brianlilley They aren't incompetent they are all ex Bell, Rogers and Telus employees, hell bent on preventing nay competition coming into Canada which would drive down their outrageous costs! There is a major story here, start digging into this and it'll blow your mind!

@UnkleHack69 The problem is that the Canadian market is extremely protectionist of Telus and Rogers. It's not even like telecommunications regulations are more strict in Canada and US telecoms just refuse to meet them because they're actually much more lenient than in the US.

I had @Telus Optik TV basic, and internet, for under $100 a month. When my plan ended, I got a bill for a new plan at $330/mo. No lie?!?¿¡!! I phoned them up and got it down to ~$115/mo. When I said no TV just internet, the conversation changed it seems.

@CanucksIn4 @jodyvance @TELUS I got Starlink a few years ago because our wifi was so bad I couldn’t work from home. It’s brilliant. Never had a problem since plugging Starlink in. When there’s a Starlink telephone, I will get it, too.

@CrunchyCarpets @TELUS @TELUSsupport The wait times on the phone are abhorrent. $200 for a tech to come out if you would like personal help…ridiculous.
