Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • marceldehetre Marcel de Hêtre (@marceldehetre) reported

@Videotron Already chatted with tech support and my wife called the same yesterday, same story: our engineers are aware of the problem and are working on it. No ETA for resolution…

  • redmcgraw1 jack mcgraw (@redmcgraw1) reported

@hope0070 @FP_Champagne Cancel the rogers shaw merger, but its not a duopoly. Shaw, bell, videotron, rogers and telus

  • whatpplcallme what people call me (@whatpplcallme) reported

@Scramjet99 @NaheedD Too high for whom? Define too high. You have a company like videotron who was successful and another like windmobile who wasn’t. If initial capital expenditures got too high, then why proceed to bid? It’s poor implementation/ market strategy.

  • Ozz3605 Ozz3605 (@Ozz3605) reported

@Jayd_Ink So idk about that since im with Videotron but ive been with Rogers for 15yrs before and not a single issue. You get 1 day with no service then its the worst ever. . .

  • Torcan1 JWilliams (@Torcan1) reported

@JeffKirdeikis Your tweet misleads people to believe all Canada is shut down. It only affects those on the Rogers system. Bell, Videotron. Telus and other providers are working just fine.

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

"Videotron has no obligation to offer a TPIA customer access speed that the company does not offer to its own retail customers. This fact alone should be sufficient to justify the approval of this [Tariff]." *bam* /end haha #CRTC

  • fishcreekbeer Fish Creek Brewing Co. (@fishcreekbeer) reported

@SamyiMo @TheBeaverton Clearly they should have redundancies. The fact Bell, TELUS, Shaw, Cogeco, Videotron, Sasktel, etc. already exist didn’t prevent Interac’s service from going down. How would another 5, 10 or 100 competitors have?

  • JefferyThomas Jeffery A Thomas 🇨🇦 (@JefferyThomas) reported

Hate that @Videotron is trying to jam this Helix garbage down our throats. (Arrogant customer service as well) More features disappearing for Illico customers. #Bell still not offering decent speeds 400Mbps+ in my postal code.

  • GHamblin16 Garren (@GHamblin16) reported

This Jays game has gotten so bad that the Videotron guy has been playing highlights of scores from previous games because the lady 2 games have been complete rubbish. #NextLevel

  • redmcgraw1 jack mcgraw (@redmcgraw1) reported

@FP_Champagne Is there a policy and technical way to ensure that canadians could switch to another provider (say videotron, bell, telus or shaw) if a provider (say rogers) goes down on an emergency basis, at the expense of of the downed provider (example rogers)?
