    ebox & Distributel & Videotron bought VMedia. And this is why the TPIA regime will not do what #Shaw's lawyer claims it will do--ie. help Videotron bundle & compete hard w/ Telus--& this whole line of argument seems like a big distraction. 4/

    @Bryson_M The problem is that promises were made to the 2007 class of new entrants (of which only Videotron and Eastlink remain ( Wind was sold so not sure original promises still binding). Govt agreed to shield them from new competition.

    Mr. Davies notes that the WiFi hotspots, which Videotron is not planning to acquire, reduce network costs. Rogers has itself identified the cost savings associated with acquiring these hotspots, he says. #CTRS #telecom
