Thabithaelymos (@Thabithaelymos1) reported@Videotron @VOID65300665 My internet is not working either why I’m in Laval
-
ljp0101 (@ljp0101) reported@Scorpionblue13 @JulianKlymochko Once it acquires Freedom, it has national scale and will be able to create a national network (and is bridged by the other agreements). Videotron will compete aggressively on price, data caps, no roaming, and more. Even if it wanted to do that today, it couldn't.
-
Michael Osborne (@WMichaelOsborne) reported@CompBureau Notice of Appeal raises 2 grounds: 1. Tribunal should have analyzed original deal (Rogers buys all of Shaw including Freedom), then considered whether Freedom divestiture to #Videotron resolves competition problems.
-
Ashveer golam (@AshveerGolam) reported@Videotron no internet for 48 hours. Technical department doesn’t know when the problem is going to be fixed or doesn’t know how to articulate the nature of the issue in detail. We want updates before switching our Internet Service. (Haven’t been able to work from home)
-
Jennifer Quaid (@quaid_jennifer) reportedPractically, this means: - Tribunal looked at merger as modified by parties (ie with Freedom sale to Videotron) - only AB & BC markets at issue - only wireless market Within these market bounds, there is no substantial lessening or prevention of competition.
-
Dbars (@djbarsanti) reported@Videotron Service is down again
-
Marc Lawsane (@InsaneLawsane) reported@Videotron so what's the problem now?
-
The CoPiloter (@Co_Piloter) reported@peternowak I was curious re: part of the Freedom sale to Videotron, Rogers would provide Videotron access to their wired network at rates below what was established for any other competitor ( e.g. Teksavvy ). Doesnt this violate some rule, og give grounds to get that lowered rate for all?
-
kal creates (@KalSDavian) reported@Videotron Yeah, you keep saying that, and yet we continue to have to use this piece of garbage.
-
Michael Osborne (@WMichaelOsborne) reportedFederal Court of Appeal ordered a "stay" of #CompetitionTribunal decision in Rogers-Shaw-Videotron merger on an "interim, temporary, emergency basis". A mere stay would not prevent the deal from closing; what the @CompBureau needs is an injunction.
