Vidéotron Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Jessewhyte Jesse Whyte (@Jessewhyte) reported

@Videotron Helix has been down since yesterday afternoon. Why no social updates to keep us posted? That way we don’t have to call in and waste everyone’s times asking how much longer

  • DrSamTheDentist Dr. Sam (@DrSamTheDentist) reported

Week 2 of @videotron mobile outage in Ottawa. Support confirmed it won’t be resolved for weeks, if not MONTHS! I thought Ottawa was lucky to have Videotron coverage, but it’s a low quality product. Sad I’m likely switching to Bell or Rogers.

  • R_Brookz Roger Brooks (@R_Brookz) reported

@BForozandeh @Videotron My internet is down in cote saint luc. Is there any update as to when it will be back in service?

  • cuto8 Curtis (@cuto8) reported

@reideltj @DrSamTheDentist @Videotron Videotron doesn't seem to give that option for iPhone. Sigh. Sure, it's a workaround but slow

  • mehrad_t Mehrad Tajkarimi (@mehrad_t) reported

@Videotron why does the device need to be disconnected from the network in order for me to forget it on helix app? So I go find the device I don't recognize and remove it from network? Revert it back that the device can be disconnected even if on network!! That's the whole point!

  • DrSamTheDentist Dr. Sam (@DrSamTheDentist) reported

Day 6 of @Videotron’s outage in Ottawa South. No update on when service will return. Call to support suggested it may be a month. Proceed with caution when selecting a carrier when you live near the edge. Repairs are slooooooow.

  • tuste69 Marvin Taylor-Ebanks (@tuste69) reported

@Videotron aware you guys are working hard to resolve current outage issue but an update would be appreciated. Called this morning to have the CS rep say he had no idea and last update posted was 9pm yesterday evening.

  • jonathandicarlo Jonathan Michael Di Carlo 📚🤓 (@jonathandicarlo) reported

@Videotron @maozao76 It would be nice if you would just be *honest* and tweet out that you are having problems instead of forcing each customer to call and overwhelm your call centers…

  • cuto8 Curtis (@cuto8) reported

@DrSamTheDentist @Videotron Ya, they told me the workaround is to drop it down to 3G/HSPA+. Still pretty inconvenient if we're paying for the service. Also it takes a while for the outgoing call to register.

  • segacs segacs (@segacs) reported

Anyone else's @videotron just crash? Phone, cable, internet all just went down here. Middle of the workday, not ideal.
