There are tons of resellers in wireline - no need to invest capital to build own network. Videotron does not need to build its own facilities. Crampton pushes further: is it not true that bundling of wireline and wireless is a key part of Rogers deal?

@illneverlisten @Ryan_r_Williams Not talking about companies leasing lines. I’m talking Videotron which owns spectrum and is concentrating on Quebec. If you’re down to direct personal insults, you have nothing useful to add to dialogue beyond a sandbox. Talk to the clouds from here.

@Videotron I love getting 90mbps instead of 450 and being unable to reach customer service :)

@nspector4 Yeah he got some bandwidth for cheap for Videotron across Canada. Something to exchange or sell down the road maybe.

@Tom_M67 @CTVMontreal Pay it back through the Bank, that way you have 3rd party proof. I pay Fido, Hydro, Videotron or whoever through my Bank, never directly. You can always count on someone at these places screwing up with your payment & it ends up in another dept. with no internal communication.

Would not Videotron face same issue? Counsel: no, because Videotron will upgrade the Freedom network (Freedom has always been behind) so it can compete with the current successful incumbents. (Q from me: if Freedom customers are budget customers, where will they get service?)

@RamanSKular The Competition Bureau is doing their best with an antiquated and deficient Competition Act to stop BOTH the Rogers/Shaw cable merger and the Freedom Sale to Videotron, both of which the Bureau has said are bad for Canada and Canadians.

@DallanInvictus This is what I thought! And why I'm hesitant to switch. But at least Videotron has a customer service department, whereas I can only communicate with Fizz via twitter DMs. I dunno!

Bell lowers 911 rates by 1-cent, videotron sent a letter out to its customer that phone is going up 2$ because suppliers are economically squeezing them. #CRTC I dunno.
