And the sad thing is... The only thing that could possibly help things would be the Shaw/Rogers merging being denied, as well as the sale to Videotron... And somehow finding a way to get new independents to be created.. Cuz theres none but Teksavvy now.

@CTVNews On Nov. 8, the #QMI editor went to meet a Videotron client who had filed a Small Claims lawsuit to threaten her on behalf of #Videotron. If you don't withdraw your complaint, I'll make you lose your job.

@aidan_theroux @SoMersVick @theJagmeetSingh Shaw never competed with Rogers on home services. They did compete in the mobile sector. Freedom Mobile is being sold off to Quebecor, keeping a 4th competitor in Videotron/FM. I am all for more competition, but Jag is out of his element here. How does it "make things worse"?

The #CRTC rulings on Negotiated Agreements call for filing them on the public record. I wonder if the complaint about the Rogers - Videotron agreement is premature, given that until the deal closes, just as a matter of law, does an agreement even exist to be filed? Lawyers? 3/6

Basically we have Bell, Videotron, rogers & Telus paying CNOC for #CRTC regulatory filings, hidden for a ~ year. People supposed to trust CNOC ever again as if they represent & are a voice for "independent internet service providers". They are lip flappers for incumbents.

@Videotron Ok. Thanks. I contacted your chat service.

@lplafrance @shakenbridge Agreed 100%. You hold the sign up during the entrance, and after the match. The worst is when you can tell they are watching the videotron to see when to hold up their sign to make sure they're on camera(ie. on TV).

  • z_ok_ny Nervous Climate Optimist (@z_ok_ny) reported

@mgeist @FP_Champagne Apparently they turned down a higher offer for Wind/Freedom from the original investment firm that started Wind. Seems likely they are intentionally picking Videotron because they know they won't give them real trouble
