Vidéotron Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • LockieSimon Simon Lockie (@LockieSimon) reported

The focus on enforceability of the @FP_Champagne conditions misses the mark: the conditions themselves are irrelevant to solving the actual problem, ie that Canada's wireless markets (including Quebec) are the least competitive in the world, and Videotron simply won't change that

  • fanCRTCProfling Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported

Basically we have Bell, Videotron, rogers & Telus paying CNOC for #CRTC regulatory filings, hidden for a ~ year. People supposed to trust CNOC ever again as if they represent & are a voice for "independent internet service providers". They are lip flappers for incumbents.

  • darealityy DARRELL (@darealityy) reported from Brossard, Québec

@NobuBergy @Videotron Damn times are hard out here!

  • CPComm Campbell Patterson (@CPComm) reported

@quaid_jennifer How can the Minister signal he will likely approve the deal if Videotron buys Freedom and not know what enforceability mechanisms are required? It would be like a Chief Justice of a Competition Tribunal saying a decision needs to be expedited before he sees all the evidence.

  • andoy007 Andrew (@andoy007) reported

@aguyswife1 You don’t even know what the deal is stop the garbage . Videotron out of Quebec will be the fourth do research before you post

  • z_ok_ny Nervous Climate Optimist (@z_ok_ny) reported

@mgeist @FP_Champagne Apparently they turned down a higher offer for Wind/Freedom from the original investment firm that started Wind. Seems likely they are intentionally picking Videotron because they know they won't give them real trouble

  • tchakountay Tiger Tchakounté (@tchakountay) reported

    @Videotron WOULD NEVER

  • ShawnGoldwater Shawn Goldwater (@ShawnGoldwater) reported

@perreaux There you go. In my case, Bell not even knowing that the cable was cut led them to offer me a new modem - which had never worked properly despite years of my complaining. If I knew then what I know now I would have stayed with Videotron.

  • CPComm Campbell Patterson (@CPComm) reported

@peternowak How will the Minister monitor, report, and enforce violations? What remedies will there be for subscribers? For what period of time are the Minister's orders in effect? What are the consequences if Rogers and Videotron fail to follow the Minister's order?

  • chouette007 La Justicière (@chouette007) reported

@ETTelecom At #Videotron, they lie to you about your rights and if you insist on having them respected, they will threaten your family. They send their reporters after you outright to extort. Complaint handling goes through extortion at Videotron
