    Finally contacted Videotron. Got $5 off my monthly bill for $40 per month plus tax, and an extra 4 GB a month for a total of 10 GB per month with a 10 GB yearly overflow block. If I have to cancel a service to make ends meet, I can cancel TekSavvy and tether off of Videotron.

    @harrissn @commsarchives Used to live in former Videotron cable area in London and had their telephone service, got a couple of extensions installed after the Cable & Wireless takeover in 1997 and they were C&W branded. Stayed a cable telephone customer with NTL but left sometime after Virgin takeover.

    Oh @FreedomMobile you need to finally break down the wall and let us use our phones everywhere in Canada. @Videotron only operates in Quebec; yet they have national data built into their plans. And I don’t mean the tiny buckets of 500mb you give us…. Sigh.

    @cbcmarketplace @CBC @cbcgem I’ll also add the hat the Rogers merger with Shaw needs to be stopped. It’s great Shaw is going to sell its phone service to Videotron in QB as part of the “conditions” for Quebec and ONLY Quebec. It should not be allowed.
