@ellenroseman @Videotron Exactly. And it is even cheaper if you use a smaller company which provides the service and support.

What happens to Shaw's wireless spectrum in the Rogers acquisition? How will Videotron maintain service for Freedom's customers if they lose it? Will it be through a roaming agreement with Rogers b/c that would be ridiculous Any insight? @peternowak @Bryson_M @AlsoKnownAs_AA

Oh @FreedomMobile you need to finally break down the wall and let us use our phones everywhere in Canada. @Videotron only operates in Quebec; yet they have national data built into their plans. And I don’t mean the tiny buckets of 500mb you give us…. Sigh.

@CBCNews The extent of corruption in this country is unfathomable. Never understood the reason of existence of @CompBureau when they do not have what it takes to stand up for Canadian consumers? I really hope the spectrum of freedom mobile doesn't get sold from Shaw to Videotron.

Another key point: who believes that Rogers being able to pick a replacement for Shaw's Freedom Mobile, ie Videotron, and then do what it needs to help foster Videotron as a strong competitor? This is fantasy & fiction, paraphrase y'day's brutal ruling by the FCA.

In a nutshell, Rogers wants to give Videotron access to its national broadband network at sweetheart rates so it can get its merger with Shaw through. This illegal side deal will kill competition, including TekSavvy, and allow the big guys to fix wholesale access rates.
