    @psyko514 I don't know if Quebecor has said what it plans to do brand-wise. It could keep Videotron in Quebec, where it bundles wireless with wireline service, and Freedom in the rest of the country, and expand Fizz nationally as the flanker brand.

    @Bell dont go with five, your fibe is the worst it goes down everyday plus it freezes , everyone i knwo that has videotron this does not happen

    @Videotron is there internet issues in Montréal/Hochelaga right now? I was connected but around 6pm EST I seem to have lost it. Luckily I had just finished work lol

    @JenTiale @MobileSyrup Yes, I'm using Freedom now. But I'm tired of terrible coverage while I'm in Quebec. Videotron/Fizz would give me better coverage.

    Having Videotron expand to Manitoba covers up for the government's failure in the Bell/MTS deal to maintain a fourth wireless provider in that province. Bell sold some MTS customers and spectrum to Xplornet, but Xplornet Mobile shut down last year.
