  @Bryson_M The problem is that promises were made to the 2007 class of new entrants (of which only Videotron and Eastlink remain ( Wind was sold so not sure original promises still binding). Govt agreed to shield them from new competition.

  Never take @Videotron, it's the worst customer service I've ever had in my life. Now that I have had my experience with Videotron after having had @CentreBell , I can advise you to go to Bell.

  @LazerothYT @Videotron yup, basically impossible to game 90% of the time. I have a top tier router, bought new cables, bought a good intel internet card to make sur the issue wasnt my motherboard's nic, factory resetted my router. Basically did everything possible on my side and nothing worked

  Never take @Videotron, it's the worst customer service I've ever had in my life. Now that I have had my experience with Videotron after having had @Bell, I can advise you to go to Bell.

  The CRTC's decision is in response to a complaint from Videotron against Bell, Rogers and Telus, claiming that the Big Three were inflating the costs of wireless devices in order to charge higher cancellation fees.
