  The first ground of appeal really comes down to who bears the burden of proof. But cases almost NEVER turn on burden. Here, the Tribunal didn't just find that there was no SLPC; it found that the modified deal (Videotron buys Freedom, Rogers buys Shaw) will increase competition.

  @CPComm @MrWickDoe @alexposadzki Rogers Cable and Shaw don't have overlapping service areas. Blue shirt or red shirt the coax cable markets are unchanged. To close Videotron has agreed to provide wireless AND wholesale wireline to facilitate bundling. Videotron will need to PoP every market like TekSavvy. (1/2)

  @Videotron no internet for 48 hours. Technical department doesn’t know when the problem is going to be fixed or doesn’t know how to articulate the nature of the issue in detail. We want updates before switching our Internet Service. (Haven’t been able to work from home)

  @CompBureau Notice of Appeal raises 2 grounds: 1. Tribunal should have analyzed original deal (Rogers buys all of Shaw including Freedom), then considered whether Freedom divestiture to #Videotron resolves competition problems.

  The Competition Bureau’s argument was completely nonsensical (at one point arguing that the sale of Freedom to Videotron was bad because of lack of vertical integration out west … how is that a negative)

  Nice to know @videotron is screwing with secondary ISP the sell to, supposed to be getting 15mpbs down and 10 up, but upload speeds r the low kbps and half or less my normal download rates, and they have given @TekSavvyCSR no info since the ticket was opened over 24hrs ago.

  @Videotron . Internet is gone once again. Hope to get money refunded with all those issue.
