@IWN_LX @signalapp @WhatsApp It is not the chatting app’s responsibility to edit users’ (metadata) files. Calling for a added feature, to be able to do that, sure. Expecting such editing in the background by default opens the door to also “altering” by default, and that opens the door to all sort of issues.
