@NDevox @WhatsApp First cleared cache and restarted the app. Then restarted the phone. Then updated phone software. Then updated WhatsApp until my wife told me that she is also facing the same issue.

@WhatsApp Might be an issue with BGP . However the symptom is so bad, having own DNS Server instead of an external one. Means this is going to take a shitload of caching time before the IP-addresses are available again for the world.
