@bigbushelsag @ChristiFriesen @Xplornet As soon as the equipment pukes you become an xplornet customer though. We used to be yourlink

  • fastjeff Fast Jeff (@fastjeff) reported

@Xplornet Customers: Our xplornet sucks, we can't get the speeds you sell us! We can barely do anything useful and it's covid times, we have to school and work from home! xplornet: But lookit this picture, so pretty. Don't forget to pay your bill this month, our techs need better cameras.

  • CattleNeilson Neilson Cattle Development (@CattleNeilson) reported

@tara_m_davidson We are on the list. Likely receive our hardware in the summer. Xplornet has let us down too many times.

@Saittech89 @CarttCa @Xplornet As a Starlink customer I can say two things: The initial cost is high at $800. The monthly cost is higher than I was paying to Xplornet. I can also say it works amazingly well and they are very up-front about ongoing issues the network is having and what they are doing to fix.

  • Saittech89 Saittech (@Saittech89) reported

@CarttCa @Xplornet Why would people want this???? They can get Starlink that has faster download and uploads for cheaper. oh and great costumer service.

  • Kilz_Knight Kilz Knight (@Kilz_Knight) reported

@Xplornet Is that why I get 0.04 mbps of upload??? WTF I CAN'T EVEN UPLOAD VIDEOS

  • fastjeff Fast Jeff (@fastjeff) reported

@Xplornet And you can bet this was a part of some poor sucker's billable hours. Xplornet techs are scratched off the list of people I'd hire because of posts like this. All they do is drive around and take pictures. Avoid xplornet, they are a terrible ISP.

  • fastjeff Fast Jeff (@fastjeff) reported

@Xplornet So xplornet launched a plan that you've been selling for a while now.... again? "deploy state-of-the-art scalable hybrid fibre wireless technology in its facilities-based network" Pointless jargon much? It's too late, people are now just waiting for #Starlink to roll out.

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

@kiss1005ssm The only thing Xplornet connects is their hand to their customer's wallets. That's what "matters" in this context. Most of their customers can't even enter this contest because their connection is so bad they can't upload a photo.
