Allan Wilson (@uncleal13) reported@CoryBMorgan I had Xplornet, worked great for a few years, then it would bog down in the evenings as everyone in the area was streaming video. I switched to Statlink, works much better. Currently here in Saskatchewan in my village there are crews going through running the main fiberoptic lines and should have it to all the residences sometime in the summer. I'll be switching to the fibre when I can. I like Starlink, but I don't think it is sustainable, when it is up to full capacity, to continuously launch 3,000 satellites a year to maintain a fleet of 15,000. They are low earth orbit. Meaning each satellite can only stay in orbit about 5-7 years, then it comes down and burns up.

Gross.

Jean-François Mezei (@jfmezei) reported@Cory_Boehm No. Xplornet was just PR exercise with Xplornet never having intention to invest and develop a large network from scratch. (in fact, the real Xplornet spun that business off and it is now shutting own).

All In (@apclaus) reported@xplore_ca Hands down, this is the worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. With other options unavailable, I had to put up with paying for 25 MB/S service but only receiving 3 MB/S and almost no upload speed. I wasted hours on the phone with them…they don’t care. 💸💸

Keith Murray (@keithwawanesa) reported@Mullin_95 I always had great service from Netset, until they sold out to Xplorenet. Xplornet is the best advertising for Rfnow! @RFNOW_Inc RFnow has the same good service as the old Netset.

Slow speeds, high cost, no customer support. What exactly am I paying these criminal rates for?

Ally Bryant (@Eh_Bee_Sea) reportedNo one answering @xplore_ca "24-7" customer support line. 3 or 4 tries in the last week... on hold indefinitely. The same song plays over and over and over. Email support? Auto-reply that a "case has been opened" with no details or information about actually getting service.
