@Xplornet Only option I see with Xplornet is overpriced ****** service.

  • jeff_goldenberg Jeff Goldenberg (@jeff_goldenberg) reported

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet Is the service available yet?

  • nicvatar Nick Ward (@nicvatar) reported

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet interesting! working on a pilot project to secure high speed access for a semi-rural community in The Gambia. right now they may be paying a little less however service is inconsistent which makes running a business difficult. exiting development regardless!

  • m3t4lw01f Metal Wolf (@m3t4lw01f) reported

Number of times Nest has emailed me to say "your camera is offline" today: four. Thanks @Xplornet. Your service is the best at being terrible.

  • timkingsbury tim kingsbury (@timkingsbury) reported

@GarthTwitchell Well there is room for real high speed upload (10mps) & download (min 25 mps) at less cost & better service than Xplornet so if @magenetworks can do that I'm in. If they are another "want-to-be" at big $ & false promises then no interest!

  • myles_kin Myles Standish Kin Folk (@myles_kin) reported

I can't wait for my #Starlink to arrive so I can finally drop @Xplornet !!!! Xplornet service is absolutely the worst, customer service is garbage and they actually sold us a plan that they can't even provide and they outright admitted it!! 50Meg my ***!! #goodbyexplornet

  • EamonCyr ɹʎƆ uoɯɐƎ (@EamonCyr) reported

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet Going to be pretty happy to get rid of Xplornet myself too. Capped bandwidth for ridiculous costs, throttled, never get the speeds I apparently pay for, list goes on. Hopefully ordering my Starlink shortly, already got the location invite.

  • Xela_Nitram Greensville AM (@Xela_Nitram) reported

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet Once fully built out, Starlink is intended to serve 485,000 connections in the US at 100Mbps. That's just under 0.15% of the population. The entire network is limited to 48.5Tbps. For perspective, the company I design for supports 46Tbps through a single ethernet switch

  • EamonCyr ɹʎƆ uoɯɐƎ (@EamonCyr) reported

@spearster55 @SpaceX @Xplornet I noticed the service get *real* shitty when they got bought out late last year by an American company.

  • HigginsRon Ron Higgins (@HigginsRon) reported

Trapped with having to use @xplornet (for now). OMG it is slow the last 2-3 weeks, need to keep rebooting router, big lags in virtual meetings - sooooo frustrating. @SpaceXStarlink charging too much for BETA while having to keep carrying XP due to beta downtimes to ensure uptime.
