@darrell88384848 @jayDouc3tt3 @BambinoJalapeno My only options for internet here are xplornet and Starlink , or hotspot my phone which would would require a cell booster because the cell signal is non existent.

@xplore_ca Kinda funny how you treat customers that pay absurd amounts. You guys are losers.

Another day dealing with painfully slow internet in #Northumberland. How are others dealing with this? Is it only my connection? @PLawrenceMP we need reliable reasonably priced rural internet. Xplornet is our only option providing us with an upload speed of .2. Thatโ€™s point 2!

@Starlink my remote oil and gas clients are pretty upset, considering it was a 3 hour outage. itโ€™s first outage on record since we cut them over from xplornet tho

@xplore_ca Over $100/month for service... this is unacceptable. I know that as soon as an experienced tech gets here, he'll be able to fix it without an issue and he'll shake his head when I tell him about what the last guy said. Same thing happened last time. Surely you can do better.

@mario4thenorth Same thing as with EORN...Eastern Ontario Regional Network, tasked with getting broadband to rural eastern Ontario. 20+ years and a house bought in '98 can only access Starlink which is not part of EORN. Xplornet satellite latency and cost not competitive. Cell service spotty. When house was purchased Bell Canada promised DSL in 6 months. LOL. First of all too far from local switching central office for DSL.

@xplore_ca @XploreBusiness @APLenehan Final Report: After 17 years with a #xplornet satellite dish, we cancelled our service yesterday [to billing month end] and were cut off last night, a day short of what I stated. Took three customer reps and they still didn't get it right.

  • KKoolyk
Palliser Triangle Ag Project (@KKoolyk) reported

@BantrySeedman Itโ€™s been by far the best rural internet weโ€™ve had. And price point. Had Xplornet (garbage), then Rogers Rocket hub (great speed but expensive), then Netago local company out of Hanna (was overall good, company sold to Telus and I hate Telus)

@xplore_ca Is this the reason why its been 10+ hours of no service and 2.5 hours of waiting on hold to figure out why its not working? Would love to actually have an update
