@the_uncanny13 @APLenehan @xplornetretweet @Xplornet @NavdeepSBains @ISED_CA @ccts I agree hard to even get over 1 meg on satellite most ports are also closed unless you’re a Netflix subscriber took 2 days to get a windows update I complained to Microsoft they say it’s a problem with provider.

  • foxfie_ca Richard Dallaire (@foxfie_ca) reported from Smiths Falls, Ontario

@fraygulrock @xplornetretweet From what I hear you can now buy xplornet through resellers it would be cheaper but still the same bad speed. I would also check resellers on price for xplornet Satellite internet you might save money and speed is better. I hear still better deals coming in spring.

@StefanM411 On my island I just switched internet from Bell land DSL to Bell wireless microwave dish with tons of data. It’s much faster, more reliable. I fired Xplornet & took down their dish as their data limits were impossibly low. And I saved $40/mo by porting from satellite to tower.

  • SeanMor27198990 Sean Morrison (@SeanMor27198990) reported from Hampton, New Brunswick/Nouveau-Brunswick

@Xplornet has chosen to release 5G Technology cause a lot of people were complaining about the poor internet service which normally happens when you live out in the country cause the trees 🌳 end up disrupting the cellular signals

  • sharkey2000c Bill Sharkey (@sharkey2000c) reported

@APLenehan @Xplornet @BernJordanMP @NavdeepSBains @MarcSerreMP @ISED_CA You have a “lose-lose” policy where if I go over my net data for the month, you throttle my speed to a snail pace. I have to call to get more data. I’m pissed and your support is doing extra work.

After @xplornet said today drove all the way north...now told Friday. Week without service #xplornetfail #disconnected

Clearly @Xplornet has no interest in keeping their customers. 9 years with the previous ISP #netset xplornet buys them and losses my business in a few months. Worst #customerservice I've ever experienced by a long shot. #bdnmb #internet

@sariegowie @Xplornet Lobby the federal gov't to hand free money to Bell ONLY TO BE USED for upgrading rural community wiring. Gov't won't force them to eat into their own profit for sake of rural network upgrades b/c every pension plan (even CPP) in Canada is heavily invested in BCE for the dividend.

  • lcmacewen LorMac (@lcmacewen) reported

@DealWit79925749 @CBCNews @Xplornet @CRTCeng I agree wholeheartedly. Xplornet keeps offering "discounts" - they are unable to supply the service, or even most of the service, they continue to sell to others. I was told two years ago that the tower was oversold in this area, and that it would be upgraded last year - nope.

lol it doesn’t surprise me that Bell is once again screwing rural people over. I guess my parents are stuck with their over priced shit @Xplornet internet that is no faster than dialup for a while longer.

@LacrosseDad16 @Xplornet I feel your pain!! 75% used 4 days in to my new billing cycle because my internet has been out of service for 5 days!
