@WIONews @zoom_us It’s mainly cheaper rates and the free meeting room that attracted lot of users. But whenever some IT service is free it also comes with some other non-monetary cost. Most people ignore that just how they have been using free social media platforms or gmail for instance.
@PHSalt @Reuters @Facebook @zoom_us I’ve seen this. If I’m not mistaken it’s for unpaid users (which aren’t really customers). I am also aware of the issue with their encryption which they’ve fixed. They are not a chinese company. The CEO is Chinese but the business is in San Jose and traded in the NYSE
@zoom_us A meeting host can unmute a participant on a call without consent. This is a serious problem.

@zoom_us You seem to be constantly posting your 'well dones' but ignoring businesses having real issues with the new Zoom! Please send timeframe for unmute, I am sure EVERY studio has been on, it is ridiculous now trying to run classes.
@digitaldutta @zoom_us You are the one insinuating that "we won't protect you because you are too poor". Privacy is a right. Added Security is a feature. From a business perspective, it is hard to earn money when offering a sophisticated and expensive encryption service for free.

@HiromiCota @zoom_us worked but it seems it doesnt detect my Camtwist, they said in the official page they would solve the problem with digital cameras, seems like they lied.
@zoom_us Same issue here: Updated to Zoom 5.0.4 and I can't join anything now; the client just gets stuck at "connecting."
Hey @zoom_us - New problem! We ask the artist to use Original Sound (obvs). They use 5.0.3. But if we unmute and then mute all the audience for applause (using 5.0.2), it switches the artist back to compressed sound. It's just really screwed our sound in a concert. :(

@QuizMistress @zoom_us Thanks! I’ll give that a go. I ran two meetings yesterday and one of them worked totally fine, but the other didn’t. Will ask the people affected if they were on mobiles. Appreciate the help 😊

@kjinquiry @zoom_us I think you have to encourage your participants to update to the latest version (which they can find by clicking on their profile pic and scrolling down to updates). That seemed to fix it for me as I was having same problems.
