Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Balderson and nearby locations:

  • sonofrawhead Brendan Riddall (@sonofrawhead) reported from Tay Valley, Ontario

So I just tried to add a new phone line to our existing @Bell account (switching my cell over from rogers) and during the half hour of them transferring me between 4 different people they informed me that the Care department was now closed and they would not be able to help me..

  • queerthoughts Rick Barnes (@queerthoughts) reported from Lanark Highlands, Ontario

@ColonelAngus17 @Bell @FreedomMobile I have very poor coverage at the farm. I get some at times but its not reliable at the farm. The big three are the only carriers. If I were just in Toronto, freedom mobile would be good. The Big three screw us all.

  • alandrummond2 alan drummond (@alandrummond2) reported from Drummond/North Elmsley, Ontario

@Bell so your company is both disorganized and most assuredly dishonest. No internet service since yesterday - Modem fried from lightning. We will be there between 8 AM and noon but you weren’t!

  • uglydogrally UglyDogRally (@uglydogrally) reported from Beckwith, Ontario

@Bell_Support known issues with Mobile Data in West Ottawa? Hasn’t been working since yesterday afternoon.

  • Medibrat Bex (@Medibrat) reported from Lanark Highlands, Ontario

Trying to REPLY to a time sensitive email sent by my psychologist. @Bell has kicked back my reply 3x now saying it doesn't trust the sender. HE EMAILED ME FIRST. This is a major problem, and poor form. Reason 5932 why I left Bell years ago.

Trying to listen to 650 I can’t get it as good as 1040 I’m trying to listen but figure it it. Fix your signal. Or @bell bring back 1040 sports.

  • stevewahI Stephen Wahl (@stevewahI) reported

@TekSavvyBuzz @Bell I'm a happy long time Teksavvy customer for broadband.

  • aleksic Canadian $TXL Astronaut (@aleksic) reported

@TekSavvyBuzz @Bell Canada needs to split Telco infrastructure (both wireline and wireless) from the ISP's. The infrastructure providers would treat every provider the same. It worked in the UK to bring prices down and competition up.

  • storyofysterday storyofyesterday (@storyofysterday) reported

I have no ideas why I decided to go back with @Bell when I set my internet is up. I am beyond frustrated with the lack of respect and disregard from their customer service. #fuckbell

  • RickOutofTown OutofTown (@RickOutofTown) reported

@TekSavvyBuzz @Bell Bell Fibe TV/Internet are money sucking bastards, my so called 2 year plan didn’t last a month, the price $134/mth tax included went to $165 on my 1st bill, now they want almost $250/mth, they keep saying it’s because of expired promotions, I keep asking WTF.

  • wmadxyn Mediterranean Immigrant (@wmadxyn) reported

@yyzMYA @TekSavvyBuzz @Bell Bell promises service to the house, inside, using wifi service deteriorates. I bought the 1 gig package and got around 100mbps but I've cabled the modem to laptops and now I get around 900mbps. So my advice: cable your main machines for school or work.

  • EgilLomeland Egil (@EgilLomeland) reported

@TekSavvyBuzz @Bell The CRTC is but another cartel to limit competition in Canada for the benefit of its members and at the expense of Canadians. Canadians however continue to support these marketing boards as if they were there for their protection.

  • wmadxyn Mediterranean Immigrant (@wmadxyn) reported

@yyzMYA @TekSavvyBuzz @Bell I fought with bell for months until an honest agent told me this. Providers promise top speed to the house, what happens inside is not their problem except to upsell and sell silly gadgets that promise more speed. +/- 24$/50ft at Amazon don't buy the overpriced ones at best Buy

  • adammcnamara Adam McNamara (@adammcnamara) reported

@SpaceX ETA for Starlink in Oakville? @Bell 50 down 3.5 up for $74.95 is criminal, and @CRTCeng is an accomplice

  • yyzMYA Moaz Ahmad (@yyzMYA) reported

@wmadxyn @TekSavvyBuzz @Bell Seems like a good idea....just wish it wasn't the necessary solution for a 1100 Sq ft apartment.
